Ahh! Some other coffee drinkers. For me: a small pot of black caffeinated stuff to get started in the morning ... a large pot of black decaf to get through the day ... and a small decaf pot with flavored creamer in the evening. Coffee, PVs: life is good!

As for the OP's other question: Do the smoke quitting "banners give a somewhat accurate calculation as far as how much money you saved?" Nope! Not in net savings. They don't take into account how much we spend on vaping. It is possible to spend half as much on vaping as one spent on smoking (e.g., by avoiding mods, staying with one e-cig model, and just buying parts and inexpensive e-liquid), but very few of us do. I have really restrained myself (due to financial necessity, not great will power) and I've kept it to about 3/4 of what I spent on the cancer sticks.

But saving money is not why I vape. It is just one of my two rationalizations; the other is health. The reason I vape is because I love it so.

water for me too but when i'm out and about, i carry some tic tacs with me, they take the edge off the dry mouth a bit, until i get to a pub :D

you should drink 2 litres of water a day anyway, so vaping helps with that too. i went from a barely 200ml water intake to a 2.5 litre water intake a day. mind you, i spend more time on the loo than i used to as well...

Water and Trident layers work great for me
thats just it, water. its best but the crazy thing is, the more water you drink, the thirstier you feel. This is bc its also flushing ur system and working ur body a lil more inside, so even tho u know ur NOT dehydrated, ur body is saying more, more!!

Drink the water, crystal lite, w/e it is you like...your doing everything rt. The effect eill wear off maybe but for me I never got that effect...Im ALWAYS thirsty lol...but then again I drink around 3 gallons of water a day at least! I constantly have a drink in hand or by my side at all times ;)

but in retrospect, its great for ur body!!!!

Sugar free hard candies are always a good thing to keep around too :)

I drink plenty of water and crystal light, but it does not help for me, what I did find that helped is called Refresh, it is made by Halls. It is just a hard candy like drop that moistens your mouth....and they taste great:)
It is not a med BTW it is just for dry mouth.

I myself haven't experienced this.. if anything my mouth kept more dry smoking analogs than vaping.. Since vapaing i honestly haven't felt as thirsty, my wife was getting worried about me actually dehydrating.. i guess its the switch from analog to vaping ( it effects everyone different) so i purposely drink alot of fluids just to make sure i don't dehydrate..lol

I have been vaping since November and never got serious dry mouth until yesterday. It's like, no matter how much water I drink, it will not go away. I did go out and get some of those Halls Refresh, and they're helping. I got the sugar free Juicy Strawberry flavor. Went to Target and that's the only flavor they had. Anyone know if they have different flavors? I also noticed that while in the toothpaste aisle, they had mouthwash specifically for dry mouth. I didn't buy any, but I might if this damn cottonmouth doesn't go away. Haven't had this bad of cottonmouth since high school :)
