I'm in love with my iclear30.. i bought 2 for 20$ and just ordered 4 more replacement heads

personally i've tried a few other clearos.. redux, vivi nova's etc.. and nothing is better than the iclear at this point.

monster TH and flavor, huge vapor.

Got one, and 3 more on the way with 15 replacement heads too
I tried a Vivi Nova last week and i could tell the huge difference between them both, Vivi has a lot less flavour and vapour

+100 to all the above! Fabulous tank, hate the mouthpiece. Give it some time, someone will make An adapter.

Agree with all of the comments above, except perhaps the hate for the tip.

Great flavor, no dry hits, good to the bottom of the tank! :)

While I wouldn't mind if you could use a replacement tip, it's a ming type metal tip that feels fine to me (everyone has different preferences, so I'm not saying the poster above is wrong...) and the ability for it to swivel means you don't need to tip the battery/mod as much as if you couldn't swivel the tip. Again, not a big deal....

Overall, I'm really sold on the iClear 30 and iClear 16, and I've been using cartos for about a year and a half! Tried Vivi Nova, and other replacements, and always went back to my cartos.

Just got mine yesterday and I did notice the smell from the packaging. Fortunately I remembered to clean it first this morning. Just waiting for it to dry.

I picked up one of these yesterday, along with a Vamo and some new juice.
I noticed a funny aftertase, assumed it was something to do with the juice (cherry) but yeah, it's definitely a weird chemically taste, not so bad I can't vape, but a little unpleasant.

I'm gonna grab some vodka on the way home and give it a good old soak, hoping that will fix the issue. Kinda ...... about the waste of juice though. I just hope a Vodka bath fixes the taste issue as I love this thing, even the drip tip. If it wasn't for the bad taste I would be recommending these to everyone.

If anyone can reply and say if they have had success with a vodka bath or boil that would be great.

Can't say if a Vodka bath will work, but if you drink enough of the Vodka before vapping the iClear 30, I can pretty much guarantee you won't notice the funny taste anymore.

I honestly didn't notice any funny smell or taste with my 30, but it could be the years of drugs...

Take it apart, wash with warm or hot water, paper dry the wicks and tank, and you can put it back together again and start to vape right away! I've done this to clean my iClear 30 after a few weeks of use, and it worked great right away! The tiny amount of water remaining is washed away by juice, so you really don't need to wait for it to dry, if you paper dry the wicks and dry out the tank before putting it back together (I can be very patient, as long as I don't have to wait....)

I tried it out and love it on my Vamo. One thing I did not like was how awkward it was to grip when screwing the head back in the tank. I used it just about all afternoon and when the juice got halfway I went to top it off (to tone down the menthol). I thought I had it screwed in all the way but it read 9.9 on the Vamo. Unscrewed the top, took off the plastic piece and used my tweezers very carefully and finished screwing it in. Other than that glitch, it's great vaping.

On order from Quantum Vapor. I'll post my impressions after using it for a few days.

I'm using a knockoff mini vivi for now and I like it.

From all the reviews it sounds like I'll like the 30 even better.

I have both the iClear30 and vivi nova. I find them pretty much the same, but like the ability to quickly re-coil, re-wick and dry burn the vivi nova.

Visited new vape shop near me today and tasted their RY4 for grins. I had ordered some from somewhere on the web a long time ago and it was awful (tasted like cologne). The shop had the RY4 preloaded in an iClear 16 ( the small one I guess), and it tasted very, very good. I was kind of surprised based on my previous experience. Any rate, and to the point, I bought some of this juice and filled a freshly rebuilt Vivi Nova (been happily using them for a long time now) and found the flavor muted compared to what I remembered of the iClear. Gotta go back tomorrow and buy an iClear. My question is, other than the juice capacity, anyone know if there is much of a flavor difference between the iClear 16 and the 30?

I don't notice any difference... I really love 'em both!

I've got an iClear 16 on my eGo Spinner, and the iClear 30 on my MVP (box mode)... they both work really well!

I started off loving my iClear 30. Great vapor, taste, TH...
I had been using knockoff mini vivi novas for a week or two before I got it but I'm still a n00b.
I use a VV SLB eGo and when talking with a supplier on the phone I asked what voltage he uses with his i30.
He told me he keeps his pegged at 5V and digs it so I tried it.
Too much frying so I cranked it down to 4.8 and enjoyed huge hits with less frying.
The past couple of weeks I forgot voltage and learned to fill it less to avoid gurgling and getting nasty mouthfuls.

Today I was ready to quit using the 30 because I've been sick of the hot hits and overpowering burnt flavor.
I turned it down to 4.6V and shazam! it's delicious again.
I don't know how many ml of great juice I wasted by cranking too high.
It's back to being excellent if a bit fiddly.
Just fill it lower than the wicks and it won't get sucked in and gurgle/splash mouth (yuck!).
Keep it down to 4.6 or lower and it won't taste like what burnt crap would taste like.
I tilt/turn mine when the level's low to keep the wicks soaked and refill @ almost empty

I'm enjoying it immensely again and recommend it if you can deal with a few restrictions.

usage specs:
all my juices are 80/20 or 75/25 and 24mg or 18mg
The coils on the 30 are rated @ 2.1 ohm
I keep my 2.4 ohm mini novas @ 4.4V and enjoy them at that level
I have slotted thread covers on both eGos for both the i30 and mini nova

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I received 2 - 16s with my MVP kit purchase. They are awesome in the flavor category. Don't bother with the Protank, put mine back in the pretty case it came in. Imo the flavor is lost somewhere. Great looking and good vapor production but they have to do something about the weak flavor. I even took out one of the flavor wicks as discussed and got a chemical taste so I put it back in. Disappointing and I will be looking at the 30s next.
