I've converted to vaping from a pack a day analog habit for 30yrs. (I started REAL young, lol). I find that when I am having an analog craving that DIRECT inhaling, i.e. inhaling straight into my lungs instead of into mouth and then inhaling, gives a better throat/lung hit and increases the "buzz" feeling.... works for me, so might be worth a shot for you.

Heh, never did get into smoking cigs. I did steal some from mom's boyfriends and light them on the stove late on Friday nights when I was 6, but hated the dry mouth and coughing. Dad, Papaw, and Auntie smoked, I wanted to smoke to. Wasn't worth the effort.

Tried again at summer camp when 12. Blah. Was easy back in 1986, go to store and say I am buying for dad. Then I switched to only smoking when drinking hard (rare). Now I can try without tobacco! WIN!

My favorite is the nose vape. Begin inhaling, blow some out through your nose, inhale some more, nose a little more, deep inhale into lungs, exhale through nose.

I like the French inhale. Get a good mouthful and push it out slow while inhaling into your lungs with your nose. You get to taste and smell the flavor and it just looks cool.

OMG, Rosa, how do you do this? I just tried this after reading your post and went into a coughing fit. I tried your talented-day way verrrry easy and got much more flavor from my juice than i normally do, though -- that's a plus.

(yeah, sorry bassnut)

But no, I've been using the eGo for about a month -love it. I just ordered atomic cinnacide from tastyvapor too (trying to kill my nose hairs i guess):D

I was thinking about getting the juicebox from Carlos at madvapes. that way if the fda goes ahead w/their boneheadedness, i won't need to stock up on anything except juice. i heard carlos made his own atty on the juicebox. then i'm going to be looking into something called the super-t precise. it's from a mfg. co. here in the states. they'll learn how to make attys here. desparate people do desparate things. they'll learn. although, i'm pretty much a law abider, it does seems like it would be a thrill to be part of black marketing, except for the prices we'll have to pay. :D

thanks a lot bassnut for letting us steal a little space of your thread. :)

Thanks for this post Xrayman. It validates what I stumbled on as well. For those times when I vape and it doesn't seem to be 'cutting it' (and those times are rare) I take a couple of big hits deep into my lungs, where you hardly exhale anything, but I can feel the warm glow in my lungs-that seems to do the trick and then I'm good to go!

Hey Bassnut Of course you're gonna be missing something...duh.....afterall, you're a bass player right?? lol Sorry just another bad bass player joke-I play acoustic guitar.
Anyway I read somewhere on these threads (sorry I can't tell you exactly where) a post by someone who seemed to know the science of it that the nicotine is absorbed much more quickly through smoking traditional cigarettes and in the lungs mostly versus the absorption rate of vaping which is slower and mostly occurs in the mouth and throat - so it follows that we don't get that initial "aahhhh...." like from the traditonals but the science says that in traditional smoking the nicotine leaves your body more quickly as well leaving you wanting more right away as opposed to e-cigs where the nicotine stays in the body longer which suggests longer satisfaction. Not just my opinion, I swear, I read it on one of these threads somewhere.
