The only thing I miss is the timer that comes with analogs.... By the pool..... I'll have glass of wine, two ciggies, and then go backwash.... two more ciggies and some wine, and then poop scoop the yard.... That was all before starting vaping.

I still have an occasional analog or two a couple of times a week. Guess where. Sitting by the pool with a glass of wine even if I don't have any outside work to do.

I don't miss all of the other things that will be mentioned here, probably many times. Well, having a lighter handy is important and I have been caught a couple of times when I needed one and didn't have one. I intentionally took the lighter out of the car but I'm going to start carrying one in my purse.

The only thing I miss is always having a lighter. Lighters are handy little devices for purposes other than lighting cigarettes.

I still carry a lighter anyway. Partly because it's an old habit and partly because living in Wyoming, sometimes you have to travel for hours on deserted roads. You never know when you'll break down or hit a deer and need to build a fire to keep warm until help arrives. And hey, if you hit a deer, you can always cook it up on the fire if you really have to! (Oh man, I've lived away from civilization for far too long!!!)

I miss lighting up a fine cigar on the golf course or just while sitting outside, and the great tastes that goes with enjoying fine aged tobacco rolled in a natural leaf and the complex tastes & aromas they produce. I miss filling the bowl of a 100 year old brier or aged Meerschaum with a fine Cavendish and the warmth it brings as you inhale the tasty smoke that fills your lungs, and how it makes me feel. I don't miss all the crap that come with it.

I still carry a lighter as well. How else am I supposed to open bottles of Newcastle and Guinness?

I miss the timer. It was really handy knowing how many smokes equals a break, how long to let dinner simmer, etc...

Call me a heretic, but I miss the taste of tobacco too. Not the nasty ashtray taste of a BT cig, but of real tobacco. This weekend I'll find out if vaping has ruined the flavor of my annual Faire cigar. Kinda worried about that actually...

How about taping a tiny timer to your PV. LOL

I already REALLY miss using analogs as timers and to judge distances. :(
I don't think I'll ever stop carrying a lighter... and am still currently carrying around an unopened pack of analogs.
Theres also the nice socialization that occurs during smoke breaks... The company I work for rents space in a clinic, the only people I know there outside of my office are smokers.

Yes thanks for reminding me, I miss playing with my awesome engraved Zippo

ah, yes, my trusty zippo. i still carry it with me, although it doesn't get much (if any) use any more, so i'm mostly using it as a lighter fluid evaporation device than a lighter. But lighters are very handy tools to have around, so i keep mine around most of the time just for utility's sake.

I really miss the going outside part. It was always signaled by something, like finishing a bunch of work up, or getting ready to switch to some new task. Now, I vape all the time, so it seems like there's no breaks to punctuate my day.

I've been considering the idea of making myself vape outside only, so as to (1) abbreviate the constant-vape-syndrome I apparently suffer from and (2) to make myself feel like I'm having a real "break" of sorts.

I miss letting the cigarette dangle from my lips -- it's hard to be hands-free with the e-cig, it's too heavy. On the other hand, it's easy to hold the e-cig in one hand while driving, and it's not a big deal if I happen to fumble it and drop it between my legs -- I won't burn myself or anything.

Today I was outside on a "vape break" at work with a co-worker who was having an analog -- I have to admit I really liked the smell of the analog. I've missed it. I don't miss the stale smell hanging around my house, however.
