Started this because the cross/hijacked thread we were discussing it in looked like it may be getting a little heated on the other subject at hand. Ever since my horse died I've been riding this Honda Metropolitan 2. I wanna build an old triumph as soon as I get my finances in a better place. Those things kill me, with the big ol' fattys on the front and back(tires, not chicks). Hoping for next summer.

Ya know the world would be an even better place if people just accepted the fact that you are riding no matter the make or model. We we're just at a gathering before the national TT race here in Peoria and parked among all the HD's was a Honda trails bike. Street legal but you could tell he had fun in the dirt too! Then when DH went to the race Sunday they don't even race HD's anymore it's all Honda, Kaw, Suzuki....oh well.
ETA: The vulcan is our baby for now. Till the hemi wagon and truck are paid off.

Well that may be true for those of you on the real thing, but in comparison my 50cc probably holds up about as close as a golf cart to my mustang. Man I miss her.

I was one of the one's , involved in that dispute . Yamaha guy said he hated Harley's , cause they rattled his teeth , and leaked oil , all the time . So I told him , he hadn't ridden one , cause no teeth rattling , going on here , nor any oil leaking . Mine , A 2006 Road King in Black Cherry , Vance and Hines pipes , and 35,000 miles , and counting .

No there's just no talking to some people or others. They are set on what they like and that's all and good, to each their own but you don't have to put each others choice down because of it. There are good and bad qualities to everything out there. Just look at each persons choice of PV and flavors to see that.

Alright...dirt bike time lol.

2006 drz400e. Not the fastest thing out there. But in between the trees, it feels like light speed. I love the 4 strokes for their ease of use in the woods. You can putt up a good sized hill, or get on it to the point where your vision gets blurry from the vibration lol. All you can do then is slow down, or point and gun it!
