i ordered the v2 yesterday before i really had any idea of all the other options there are.... anyway i just recieved a phone call from them asking if i actually placed and order and that i have to call them back to verify it on my card before they will process it. obviously then, i technically could cancel my order right now. which, after seeing all that was out there, i regretted making anyway.

what do you think i should do? i was thinking ill just cancel and go with an ego? BUT i DO want to have something smaller for outside the house. i dont exactly want to be vaping something obscene (to police) looking while driving my car and give them a reason to pull me over and hassle me. (i live in an area that has really... uhh.... jerk cops. ex: speeding ticket for doing 31 in a 30...) so i wanted something that would resemble (or at least be small and compact) a stinky.

what should i do? i just ordered some juice from alice in vaporland, so i was kind of hoping to get something of better quality than a v2 to use it in anyway. thanks!

oh also- who has the best prices on egos?

Since youre given the option and are already thinking about the ego, I would go with those. I know they seem huge in comparison to a rolled tobacco cigarette but wont attract that much more much attention in your car or even in public than a V2 would. Ones cigarette sized the other is the size of and can be mistaken for a cigar.

Ego also has options for regulated voltage (meaning the vapor, flavor and throat hit wont gradually decline while the battery discharges throughout the day) and also Variable voltage, meaning you can adjust it to work with your juice and atomizer preference.

Either way with whatever you choose good luck :)

Not very many people stick with just the cig a likes but if you want to use them when driving and out and get a better set up for home do both eventually. Variable volt ego is not that complicated really and you'll probably end up wanting one rather than a basic ego. The egos are still disposable batteries. It's a little easier to just plug them in to charge rather than taking batteries out to charge like with mods. Depends on your budget and most the stuff is disposable untill you get in to the higher end mods so you'll end up needing more anyway. Some just last longer and work more satisfactorily....like a ego vv for the price Just be sure to know the ohms of the cartomizer you choose, or clearomizer or attomizer if you want to try dripping.

The V2 is a good unit for a cig-a-like but like all of the cig-a-like companies they really exaggerate how long a cartridge will last. And as stated they are an 808 connector which limits your options. V2 as a company also has stocking issues at times and some real juice flavor issues.

I would suggest a Volt system if you want a cig-a-like sized or the eGo if you don't mind larger.

V2 called me to verify my order also. Although they got me off cigarettes, I was getting pretty discouraged after two weeks with them. Carto's don't last as long as they say, and the battery life on them sucks. I was constantly charging them. Go with an Ego-you won't regret it. I thought I had to have something that looked like a cigarette, but got over that pretty quick. Check out The Vapor Girl. She's got some really pretty stuff!

thanks. unfortunately, i hate pretty lol. its not my thing. i ordered a volt for car/work purpose. i will be getting an ego with my next paycheck. i know everyone says i wont want a cig-a-like, but its the fact that i NEED one. there is no way in hell i can drive around with what i REALLY want. the cops here are real hasslers and if they saw that, i would be pulled over in an instant and my car ripped apart. its just the area i live in.

If I could start all over again I would start with a Lavatube or Provari right away. Why waste money on an eGo. I wanted an upgrade after a week. So if you can afford it get the Provari otherwise the Lavatube will do a fabulous job in the meantime. Stick to one or two dripping atty 'sich and 2 or 3 Vivi Nova tanks. Honestly. I shyed away from it afterrreading that everyone pretty much started with an ego or something but a week later I realized I should have gotten what just works right away. I doubt you will regret it. And we gotta give that Alice juice the best chance to really shine don'twe : ) Don't worry about being hassled. They are half as large as they look and the less of a cigarette appearance they have the better. Remember rt you are a Vaper now not a Smoker

hahaha. its not just me. they do it to everyone here. my SO was pulled over and ticketed for doing 31 in a 30. at the time he had long hair and they made him stand out on the curb in shorts and a t-shirt in the blistering snow while they ripped his truck apart, broke parts and left it that way when they found nothing... he even had to go to driving school over that ticket

the area i live in is pretty good, but we boarder a couple REALLY bad areas, so theyre really bad sticklers because they want to keep it all out of the area. my SO is going to training right now for NYS corrections officer, we are good people, we just dont look like it lmao

Since you're getting the Volt kit, go ahead and order the X2. It's an 808 fat battery like the eGo.

Or if you want variable voltage, grab an iGo Revolver from NHaler. Also an 808.

I find vaping a lot easier when everything stays compatible. And there's plenty of 808 options, you just have to be willing to look for them. ;)

I actually have never encountered the law yet since i started vaping 2 1/2 years ago. But now that i think about it i wonder what they would think of the atties and various back-up juices i keep in the glove box? They would probably run field tests and call the k-9...not to mention the lavatube and reo....i have a custom holder for the LT on my sunvisor. But i also have dark windows....hmmm. knock on wood.
