I love the media blasted & two-tone look... Hate the Madz Modz logo on the side.

I'm thinking about torching mine... get that crazy blue/gold/antique look, on the same parts as the IV, minus the button.

But research tells me, I'd have to get it to about 500 Degrees for the colors I want... afraid it might warp it.

Here's a Launcher V1 by Rai. It's supposed to be all stainless steel, but it was sandblasted by someone else.

Btw, I kinda like the Logo on the two-tone Nzonic. I thought it was a good logo. The sentinel actually doesn't appeal to me either, but it's performance is godly. .012 voltage drop underload, and has been tested and confirmed multiple times on the copper version. That's like the most conductive mech I have ever seen.

That's a sweet looking mod.

the IV's logo may serve a purpose... I have found the NZonic to be just a tiny bit on the slick side... not slippery, but i have to adjust after a couple vapes. That bit of grip created by the logo, may help... though it's bead blasted surface probably helps too.

Wonder how difficult it would be to get the pieces of mine media blasted, it could look just like the IV, minus the logo... which would be prefect

I've been wondering about the NZonic in this regard... the magnetic switch is sweet... smooth... absolutely bomb-proof(not even a spring)... BUT I'm trying to figure out how the electrical connection actually works... seems to me that it should mis-fire on occasion, simply do to the design of the button sliding through the case.... but it never does, 2 days so far, not a single misfire... no button mashing needed.

Haven't tested it for Drop... but i'm curious

The Nzonic is great, probably even more than good enough for people who actually care about voltage drops. I've also heard that the version 2-4 for the nzonic will already have silver contacts, but i'm not so sure. maybe it's for another mod. But silver is already widely available here locally too, Some people do it as a service at a VERY reasonable price. 13-16$ to have your +/- leads turned into silver? Buy the cheapest china mod and have it on silver, and you have a 30-70$ china mech more powerful than a GG. Your nzonic btw has copper contacts, and it's only 9% less conductive than silver, and it's not that bad AT ALL.

yeah the 99.9% pure copper was definitely one of the selling points for me.

I'm ok with the marginal difference from silver... but compared to cheeper china options, i'm good.

So, seeing as you're in the Philippines, I was curious:

How popular is the NZonic over there... it's an exceedingly rare mod here... I'm the only person I know who owns one(aside from the shop employees where I bought it). But I did notice that a month ago when I first saw it in the shop, i played with #105... A month later when they got another batch, I bought #665... So they're obviously going fast.

Also, What are most people topping them with? Seems the selection of 22mm dripping RBAs is limited...

The Nzonic has been really popular here, it's kinda hard to get them now in brand new. Some people are selling their own nzonic, but only like 5-10$ less of the brand new price, and it's still very sellable(idk if that's the right term). The only dripping RBA I mostly ever see is the ERA. the market has a huge demand for it, 2nd hand or not. almost all people want one, and idk why it's that in demand. Other stuff are the Fatty v1/v2, fatty res, nimbus, immortalizer and the new cyclone, which looks pretty nice but i'm sure it's not available overseas yet. A fatty v2 looks good in almost all mechs imo, but i'm not a fan of dripping so i never had one.

I'd probably pick the nzonic but that will wait when I go back to the philippines

Well, I can tell you Chuck, It's a sweet piece of kit, for sure.

If you go to the Phillipines on a fairly regular basis, it probably worth waiting... the markup Local Vape is charging is only worth it if you are

1. Impatient
2. Have to pay for shipping anyway

I have a feeling that the Launcher will have the silver contacts lol......

Well an update... I did it.

I pulled it apart removed the Delrin and magnets and torched the sections that are media blasted in the IV...

I went dark too, got the metal glowing red :)

I now have a two-tone stainless/gun metal-ish NZonic.

Love It

Will post a couple photos tomorrow.

If you happen to come back with an extra Nimbus or 2... I'd be in the market... They sell for $65 here. ;)
I know that's the goal. Me and my lady are sharing 1 check in for clothes and personal stuff and hopefully we get to fill the other check-in with vape goodies :toast:
Wish me luck on our quest lol.

If you're into mechs and RBAs, then the Philippines is a goldmine. Too many stuff to buy, too little cash for me to pay. Everything here is about mechs and RBAs, all the vapers and the stores here even recommend those to newbies who actually have no idea AT ALL about vaping. But if you're looking for a filipino genny, there's currently only one since most filipinos are drippers, even I don't know someone who really uses a genesis except me.
