I was going to use the Nanos for testing, but they are a pita to clean. Decided to go the dripper route. If flavor is not strong enough in the rda, definitely not strong enough for tank.
Yes, I changed my mind about tasting with the Nano too, Tasting a drop and dripping is the easiest way

Well, there is another way but it would require having a tank dedicated to testing unless you like to vape unflavored. An RDA would work best, but you could do it with any tank. Mix up a batch of unflavored with the nic, fill the tank with that, put the flavor on the coil, taste it, then the unflavored will clean the coil after a few pulls on the tank. Call it "Coil Cleaner."

I hope you successfully identify your juices, Anna. What a PITA.

I really don't do much tasting anymore as I have 3 or 4 recipes that are my favorites and a couple for my brother and a couple for some friends. I may mix 2 or 3 new recipes a month. DIY gets cheaper once you have your recipes down and then you wonder what you were thinking when you realize how much you spent on flavors that you may never use. Not everything taste like it is supposed to and is why I always recommend new DIYers to start off with a couple of simple recipes and just buy what they need for those. You can always build your arsenal up later

On a new recipe, I usually mix up 4 ml without the nic added then drip into my tsunami to taste, if I want to taste another recipe, I vape the tsunami almost dry and then add the other on top and vape until the new comes through. Sometimes you may find a combo that turns into a new exciting flavor and sometimes its just blechh!!! I do think I need to find nice single coil that is easy to rewick before tasting sometimes

For labels I use this + a 'Sharpie':

5 hours in a Ultrasonic Cleaner with no degradation of label or writing. Peels off easily. Juice doesn't seem to effect it either.
4 bucks at Lowes.

Thanks NicotineRush. That will work for labels and sealing nic storage bottles. I'm not sure but I think this tape is what Rossum uses as well
I use it as well. I also have some different colors for color coding battery pairs, bottles etc.

I'm actually fairly confident in my mixing skills, I did a bunch of single flavors first. It's just annoying that I made some more complex mixes and now cannot identify them. I will probably get a dripper for tasting, but a drop of e-juice on the tongue will probably work as well (d'oh, why did I not think of that). I know what I made, so I ought to be able to identify them, it's just been a PITA to try and go by smell alone.... But taste should work well enough for me to relabel and thanks for all the labeling tricks!! :)

I finally found the Govad on Ebay $20. I went ahead and ordered it as I liked the Airflow bottom and sides and I know it has lots of flavor from trying out my friend's. Good reviews on the ones you ordered I am sure you will like them

Last night I ordered two IGO-L's from MyVaporStore on sale for $2.99 each (Regular Price $19.99). Someone here recommended them and the price was right. The intake air hole on the side is small for MTL vaping in dripping style. The top pops off and coiling/wicking is easy. It does dual and single coils. The top hole fits a standard drip tip. Flavor is supposed to be top notch.

I have a label created and saved for every flavor I mix. It's just a matter of recalling the file and printing. The Brother QL-700 label printer pops it out in about 3 seconds once you click print.

Yes, it's a mildly expensive toy but it's easy to set up. It sits on the table and plugs into a USB port, ready to print. Between sessions I keep it with my DIY tools in a storage basket on a shelf.

I got the RDA just to drip and taste the Juices. I read reviews about the leaky RTA and I am done with leaky tanks;) thanks for the heads up though.:)
