I use a small Lindstrom high tensile flush cutting wire cutter.

I bought it as part of my automotive tool kit. It will cut through all sorts of things without any problem. I wouldn't recommend it if you're just using it for vaping though, they're quite expensive. Mine cost just over $100.

wire cutters included in coil master kit works for me

this is what i use as well. if anything, the SS seems softer than the kanthal IMO. it doesn't shoot off across the room like kanthal seems to do

KNIPEX 77 32 120 H or KNIPEX 77 32 120 H ESD (what I use). Look no further.
Listen to this guy for he uses 316L and/or titanium exclusively these days ;) . Or you can opt for cutters from Swanstrom Tools (M-Series) or Erem Carbide Cutters. KNIPEX 79 12 125 and KNIPEX 79 12 125 ESD are two additional candidates specifically designed to cut through hard wire.

I use a pair similar to

these that I've had for years too. Just make sure they are hardened steel, otherwise they'll be damaged by SS. I would link to mine, but it's been too long since I got them.

These look good to me, though I haven't tried them. A Rockwell hardness 54-56C would make me take the plunge if I were looking for a new pair :)

I am not sure how you guys are using nail clippers. When I use them the wire not only doesn't get cut, the clippers end up with a groove where the wire was. The wire is literally denting the metal on the side clippers I was using.
I find it cuts kanthal fine, goes through twisted 26g no problem. Mine were just part of a cheap grooming set as well, nothing special.
