The cuticle-pusher... a wooden stick with a point at one end and beveled edge at the other? I use those to position the wick on a dripper; my little Igo-S is so small, there's no room for one of the ends to go around the post, so I tuck it under the coil -- with the pointy end of that cuticle stick. :D Those pointy ends are also good for popping the rubber caps out of cartos.

And all the wile I thought that that was why God invented toothpicks. lol

how so? who said it improves the vape quality? using the right tools is more about safety. for example you might be one of the 'fold the legs up and cut with scissors kinda guy" and one day you could bump the leg down somehow and it might touch the other coil (if your using duals) causing a short.
thought this reason to use the right would tools would be common sense. but i guess you didnt think about it eh.
better to be safe than sorry, right?
This post.....is funnier....

Just a little rant. I see heaps of people cutting their coil legs with the same scissors as they would use with cutting their cotton wick. now its fine if you only use 30g and under but ive seen people use them to cut 26g and occasionally even 24g. I used to do it and the scissors would get very blunt over time making wick cutting a hassle and a half. I now use a flush cutter for kanthal so much easier, cleaner cuts, and they never get blunt.

30 gauge and up**

Don't knock someone for what they use. It's their build. I personally use nail clippers.

Hell back in my early vaping days I used to have to walk 6 no it was 10 miles up hill both ways just to use the only pair of scissors in town. Till someone spoiled it by trying to cut barbed wire with them. Then we had to resort to twisting the excess wire off our builds. [emoji12]

ROFL... instant flashback to whoever that guy was who insisted he could build sub-ohm coils because the B&M down the street let him use their ohm meter. I think pretty much all his posts got moved to "Not Advisable". :D

I have access to another cool tool, courtesy of my husband's profession -- he says he's a professional box kicker, but he's actually hell on wheels on a forklift, been operating those for oh, I dunno, about 40 yrs I guess? He always has every kind of box cutter and razor knife you can shake a stick at, and those turn out to be really handy for cutting off the top of a plastic juice bottle, so you can get the syringe all the way to the bottom. Also great for tearing into vapemail in a hurry. :D
