here's my problem.

too much juice(gurgling)--->too little juice (burnt atty taste)

the atty never seems to get hot on the outside.

when i drain the atty of juice and vape a bit. it seems like it needs a new priming because
little vapor and burnt taste. add juice(2-3drops).....gurgling.

how do i get out of this either "too much or too little" and get back to a happy medium?

it shouldn't be this hard right?

I read something about refreshing your atty. Blow all the juice out of your atty. Dry it off and then attach it and before putting fluid in, hold down the button and keep blowing inside the atty. Maybe that is so it doesn't get too hot. .. Do that for maybe a minute .. I always see lots of vapor coming up out of the atty ... Also .. if the atty is still good, you will hear it crackle as it is burning all the junk away from the atomizer. I notice that a atty that is still good will glow red during this burning ..

In doing this you will see just how long ONE MINUTE actually is .. .

Then add a few drops .. let it sit for ANOTHER MINUTE ... Two more drops and start vaping again .. Works for me.

ALSo .. with the first or second blow to empty the atty of fluid, I fill the atty with water and blow that through as well , turn it over and blow some more .. I always end with a strong blow and there is a second or two delay before the remaining OLD juice comes out... I don't know how many people will agree with me on that ..

I agree with other posters.

The gurgle is caused by some liquid passing to deep down in the atty.
I correct this problem by dripping a few drops of PGA into the atty, then blow it out.
The PGA dries quickly.

If a good cleaning does not restore your atty performance, I would suspect that a layer of carbon slag has encapsulated your coil. Only way I know to loosen the slag is an extended dry burn. Dry burn temps can enter the 1500F range so I wouldn't do it everyday.

Grimmer .. Is your 'savings' calculator working ?? or are you including all the money you spent of vape paraphernalia into the math. I figure I saved a few hundred in two months ..

You are probably right about the 30 seconds .. Seems the 801 attys will just burn and burn and burn up JUNK left in there ...

PS >> what is PGA .. is that the same thing as PG ?

I thought someone once said "Do not use canned air ..." I had a TOTALLY SPENT Janty 801 atomizer and blew a good long shot of air through it and now it burns red again .. Was the atty NOT shot ?? Or did the canned air revive it?

I couldn't imagine vaping without an air can nearby. Some misguided souls ;-) are critical of the strong force and the propellant chemicals. Much pro and con on the subject for a page or so starting with this post: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-atty-cleaning-test-thread-15.html#post715143

Nope, no hijacking here, i'm quite amused:) You can also blow out your adapter if you are using the ajustable airflow adapter (just turn your facet on full blast and blow water through it, its quite fun). If juice gets down in there it can gurgle too.

Word of the Day: GURGLE

2 : to make a sound like that of a gurgling liquid <the baby gurgling in his crib>
