What does "kick" mean?

I have seen the term "kick" used here and there in these forums, and it seems to be referencing a mod upgrade... I think. I can't really tell, and when I try to search the term, I get all kinds of crazy hits. If it's about something you do to your pv, can someone point me to a thread discussing this? If it's not something like that... then nevermind!

Look up evolv kick. It's a part to get VV with a mechanical mod.

I actually asked the same question a few days ago. Its a device you put atop a battery in a mechanical mod (one that still utilizes an interchangeable battery, but is not variable voltage or wattage) that allows you to set the wattage you desire the battery to output. For the price, it seems like you would be better of just getting a 40 dollar VAMO. But for all those out there that got a bolt mod or a mechanical box mod, i guess i could see the attraction.

I kick, 18650 battery will last....a....a.a..... (posted it some where) about 10 hours with the kick pushing 7.5 watts.
