I'm a sigelei fan. I agree that anything that has a USB connector should be upgradable online when the new firmware is released. I wouldn't mind downloading a loader program to do just that.
What does Sigelei have against firmware upgrading?

The idea of replacing decently built hardware with day one bad products that need an update to function for some reason makes me think of something entirely unrelated to vaping. Do you want Ubisoft and EA to start making mods meant for vapers?

I have a few mods that are firmware upgradeable , i will never do it though as i don't need higher wattage .
There is no temp control so no temp control updates. Many mods have been ruined by firmware updates (possibly by doing it wrong) but i bet that is why some manufacturers prefer to avoid it.

If it's done right the first time there's no need for firmware updates. Glad I didn't get wrapped around the latest and greatest have to have TC mod. My 1.5 year old 150,supertank mini, .9 kanthal cCell set up is killing it for me.

Well think of it this way, Sigelei probably sells more mods because rather than upgrading firmware, they just launch a new mod with the new features.
