Woah! That is really neat! What is in involved in building a kite like that? Have you taken any like aerodynamics courses to improve your designs or anything like that?

No courses in aerodynamics... It's a 9' Delta Kite. A delta is a common shape in kiting. The materiel is ripstop nylon (same as parachute). One you have the pattern (they can be found online) then you create your design with in the pattern. Rods are fiberglass.

I am an Amateur Severe Storm Chaser. I all began in 1974 when I was 4 yrs old and witnessed the largest Tornado outbreak in Indiana and Kentucky. Every since then I have been kinda like that guy in the movie twister that Bill whats-his-name plays. Since I have been chasing I have seen 20 Tornadoes. The biggest 2 were in Tuscaloosa, AL 2 yrs ago and Henryville, IN last year. I want to experience an true F-5. The one in Tuscaloosa was an EF-5 and it was a monster but a F-5 is much stronger. I hate it now that they have adjusted the Fajuita Scale.
