When I was going to school at South Dakota State University, they handed us all "university" e-mail accounts. I've been using it for the better part of 10 years and it's really easy for me to remember anymore. First initial, middle initial, last name, arbitrary number for confusion's sake.

I started using this username at another forum. I chose it because at the time I was "completely average" according to US Census statistics for where I live. Average age, average income, average sized house, average number of cars, average number of kids, etc...
I've stuck with it because it's a non-threatening username, and I try to come across as friendly and helpful. After all, if a little old lady is asking advice for her first ecig she's probably going to listen to a "completely average" person rather than a "MadVaporzDemon".
