Wow! So many clever and imaginative names! Mine is just what most people end up calling me. My kids friends, Dr.'s office clerks etc. My last name is a mouthful and people tend to butcher it so Mrs. G it is. I was too lazy to come up with something interesting when I signed up

i was in the army from '89 to '92, i had a friend that, when he saw me, would say 'oy, onionhead!'. i thought it was funny. when i started needing an internet nick, i used to go with onionhead, altho i started finding it was already used a lot, so i needed to mix it up. '456' is the prefix of the first phone number i ever had, when i was a kid. (way back in the days of ROTARY phones!).

I've met a lot of Sergeant Z's or F's or K's, etc since joining the Army. For the lower enlisted with the tricky names, we just call 'em "Alphabet".
