I didn't rip the inside out because the cartomizer is still perfectly usable.

After getting to the heart of my bloog carto, I have to say the op pixs are not inconsistant with an unused one. Even to the point where the glue holding things is place left some of the white tubing on the silicone.

It is hard to say from looking at the picture weather or not the slightly burned areas are liquid or if the white tube is burned. But the splitting of the white tubing does not mean that we are inhaling plastic.

Interestingly enough, I just got a couple of different KR8 batteries from an ECF seller in the classified forum.

I specifically wanted a manual because I want to drip to test out some different juice flavors. I got a used V4L shorty manual and the seller threw in a generic 78mm manual as well.

I just took the Carto I was using in my Bloog before reading this and I tried it on the V4L shorty Took a few drags, works fine--no burnt taste. I put the same carto on the manual and low and behold, burnt taste by the third drag.

That Carto is now cashed. I didn't keep hitting it once I got the burnt, but I put it back on the Bloog, and the juice is almost out.

Next, I took a fresh Carto, put it on the Bloog as a control--works fine, tastes fine. Put it on the V4L shorty--again, works fine, tastes fine. Then put it on the generic. For now it's working okay, but I can tell from the sound and from the temp of the vape, that the generic battery is getting that carto much hotter than the Bloog battery ever did.

With a full Carto it doesn't seem to be much of an issue, but when the Carto starts to dry out, that generic battery seems to be getting it too hot.

Of course, the ideal thing here would be to charge all three batteries up completely and check the voltage, but I have a brother who's a lot better at borrowing my stuff than he is at returning it. I'll get my meter back, check all those batts, and see how much variance there is in the output.

It seems to be a given that the generic battery is putting out more voltage.

I have pulled apart several used cartos and now just one new unused one, and the MF cartos look nothing like the ops pictures. Sorry, but I think there is something rotten going on here.

Ceyhan,

I will apologize for thinking it wasn't a bloog, but not about how I think he is making false claims without proof.

Can you help me understand what you meant when you said, "Sorry, but I think there is something rotten going on here" and "...I think he is making false claims without proof."....

That is true splitting does not mean it got "vaporized" in fact you would expect to see some globs of truly melted plastic if such a large chunk got burned away, what you are probably seeing is heat stress fractures.

However those little burn marks where the atomizer coil touch the top of the bottom sleeve....that is burnt plastic.

which is probably why you shouldn't use these on v4l batteries at a full charge...or your 3.7 mod at full 4.2 charge

If this same burning isn't taking place on the bloog maxx fusion battery I don't think any changes should be made other to warn against using them on other batteries....because upping the ohms is going to change the vaping experience.
