What gauge wire do you use??

I've been experimenting a lot lately with different wire gauges. I found I prefer 28 gauge twisted. Then again I don't go below .05 ohms either.

28 gauge kanthal. 1.5 ohm single coil for my kayfun. 0.6 ohm dual coil for my rebuildable dripper. All simple microcoils. K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple, stupid)

26 in my drippers, 29 in my Kayfuns. Always ~1 ohm. No fancy builds just plain old microcoils. Gets the job done everytime.

I had been locked into 26awg for a good long time, but twisting has breathed new life into my stock of 28 and 30 gauge wire. Usually round Kanthal A1, but I have some ribbon in reserve that I keep exclusively for my Immortalizer.

I build between 0.45-0.8ohms, depending on the dripper. Sometimes as high as 1.4.

24g normal kanthal can be found in my favorite daily driver drippers. Not to much of a fan on the ramp up time on twisted builds. I keep 26, 22, 20 and 24 on hand but the 24 gets used mostly.

I use 32 for the older evod bottom coils, or anything that is like them. For rba's I have 30, 28, 26 and 24 gauge. The 32 is Nichrome 60 and the rest are Kanthal A-1. I also have a spool (oh, yea, All 100 ft spools except...Ribbon) of Ribbon Kanthal A-1 in 0.8 x 0.1mm.

I am more into the rba's now and find 28 gauge is my goto.

24g for simple macro/micro coils, 28 and higher for claptons, braided, etc.

I use 26g for practically everything. Today I'm going to try my first attempt at inception coils.

I bought a 100' spool of .22g and I like it a lot but I want to get some .24 or .26g to cut down on ramp up times.
