No, this was actually a fairly moderate discussion of the relative merits of a P'vari, compared to other mods. I totally get why some would value its longevity, and hence value, it's just not for me, in this instance -- for me, a good bit of the fun of vaping is the occasional indulgence of shinyitis. I not only don't mind buying 3-5 new mods every year, I *enjoy* it! If that makes me a collector, so be it -- the only "mod" I've ever bought that actually "broke" was a knock-off ego -- for $10, I learned why "knock-offs" are a bad idea. So, since then, the only "clone" mod I've bought was the Fallen Angel, but I've seen some discussion that the Ehpro Fallen Angel's quality is actually better than the original Electric Angel -- the newer models might be better, I dunno.
I mainly stick to Innokin, and would probably also be happy with Sigeleis, since my sigelei Zmax is top-notch, very high quality. I surrendered to eleaf when I got my iSticks, but I got the 30w ones, once I saw that the 20w's won't step down, and the 50's had more problems than you could shake a stick at. I got 2 iStick30's, but at roughly $30 each, if they last a year, I won't feel cheated. The CF4's are a little more, roughly $35-$40, but I think they'll probably last longer than the iSticks.
I also have a Vamo v2, for which I paid $17 -- and as it's now over a year old and still working very well, I certainly got my money's worth out of that one!

over the years of anti-provari arguments I found they are usually based on price and by those that don't mind buying 3-5 new cheap mods every year and that's ok if that is your thing. I personally like that I am still using my original provari I bought 4 years ago and it works just like the day I bought it. I have purchased the disposal (internal battery mods) for fun but if in a year from now regulations make it impossible to get open system gear or anything crazy like that and the disposables die I still have good reliable regulated mods that I feel will last me for many more years to come.
....and the clone EAs are just that, cheap imitations, IMHO, to the authentic EAs, I have had both.
