I've seen this "if you were offered xxx money you'd do the same" sorry that's a load of rubbish I'm on what I think you call welfare in the US because of medical issue's and if I was offered a million to make a video blaming vaping for any health issue I'd tell them to sod off. If I didn't believe in vaping I wouldn't be doing it and helping others to make the switch and if you truly believe in something it isn't for sale at any price that's just an excuse for what some people do and know it was wrong. I've not seen anything to actually backup he even has the issues he claims and if dehydration was an issue how stupid do you have to be to go into a sauna. He is a guy whose only loyalty is too money and that's fine I don't care if that's the case but be honest about it and take the hit.

In my case it is called Social Security Disability, but I fully agree with your opinion.
I could care less if he sold Kool-aid or Condoms........Just sell the product on its merit and leave out all the Hooke Crap.

That's interesting Racehorse. I've never seen any data that makes me think vaping can cause dehydration any more than just using nicotine can. You say 'it may be from vaping'. If you have nay more information than that I would love to know about it.
Look how Glycerin works as a moisturizer.

I don't know why I'm getting involved in this mess, but...

When I heard Rip talk about muscle cramps, I think that is one that a lot of people can relate to. Because I've encountered many vapers who have that problem (and it probably is related to dehydration).
If I'm not mistaken, propylene glycol breaks down into lactic acid.
And lactic acid pretty much causes cramps.

Nothing mysterious here.
:)
I dunno guys, but it seems like this inability to ascribe ANY side effects to vaping, just because it isn't happening to you, seems a bit much to me. Everything has side effects, even eating certain foods, for certain people.
On the other hand, every new vaper tends to attribute every symptom to vaping.
And that has been far more than a bit much for far longer than I can remember.

So I'm not sure where to draw the line at "a bit much" in this case.
But I can assure you that the anti-vapers are eating it up.

They've even published studies based on things they've read on this forum.
Yeah, I'm looking at you Prue Talbot.

Now that I rarely use nicotine, I just feel calmer and I sleep better.
Tomorrow will be four weeks for me off nicotine...
the kids ... they having too much fun with _the_ vaping.

And personally, I feel much more anxious and I am not sleeping well.

But that could also be due to my current situation at work.
Which has become about as stressful as any time in my 18 years of working here.

Let's just say that I'm glad I have a medicinal product that is not legal in most states.
Because it is really starting to help me get some sleep again.
:)

Talk about mountains and molehills. Sheesh. I've experienced some of the symptoms Rip mentioned.

The guy is simply trying to help somebody by sharing his experience. I don't think he lies about his issues. So he introduces an electrolyte powder. It's Stevia sweetened which is fine, no GMO'S or sugar. It's a vegan product. My GF is a nutritionist and I had her look at the product label and she gave it a green light. Who cares if he is getting paid to shill the stuff. If it helps one person, that's awesome. I work out and steam sauna everyday and hydrate heavily and my symptoms are very minimal if none at all.

Rips biggest issue, imo, is he is always so BAKED. That discussion would take a complete forum.

Whatever. Oh yea, thyroid issues happen to both fat and skinny people.

I feel for ya DC2!
I take a few puffs off my evods in the middle of the night, to relax my muscles, of 15-18 mg and go right back to sleep.
I am with you on the nic addiction thing, I went 6 hrs the other day and didn't even notice that I hadn't had a hit.
With cigs I would have been a basket case, and would of got a buzz when I got my nic fix.

Well, I am one for finding answers, not witch hunting, but simply wanting to know what the heck is what.
I Guess this is as close as we will come Directly from Rip:

I still have specific concerns as to Why his conditions came about if not for poor Personal attention to health and taking ill advice from friends.

Sauna is Great for purging Toxins.........carried out of the Body in Water.
Losing Water is BAD if you are at the edge of dehydration.

Short term side effects are Generally those Experienced in the Beginning of an Action......, Not several years into an action.

More questions than available answers.

I heard rip trippers tried to sell something on youtube and brougth a lot trouble.I can't find the video now.

From what I watched, he made a video about vaping side effects which in reality.. where really only his side effects. People are upset at him because of the negative image he portrayed in that video as well as promoting other products that have nothing to do with vaping.

That was my gist of it.

I really have nothing against Rip other than I find his personality a little bit obnoxious and annoying. The guy talks so fast sometimes I find myself rewinding the videos a lot. But who am I to judge? I'd take Phil Busardo over any of these guys personally though.

Rip trippers is to the vaping community as pewdiepie is to the gaming community.

Haha! This made me spill my Newcastle from my stein! Just remember, only us gamers will understand this though. Sadly, I have given up gaming for good, but this still gave me a good chuckle!

Yeah, he fumbled the ball, but made a good recovery too.

Consider the activity required for a fit person to achieve dehydration. Consider the standard treatment of dehydration and preventative or dehydration.

Consider you overall health
Your Vaping Habits
Overall Vaping consumption

Is Vaping your problem? Maybe - recommendation as always - Stop and see

That is not denial, but rather taking things with a grain of Salt.
Drs. and labs have a purpose.

You must have missed the part where every lifestyle and metabolic "reason" has already been covered by 3 doctors. :)

Unlike most of the purely anecdotal stories here (and posters with medical degrees from google) I've actually been following this condition, both anecdotally with a "symptom journal" as well as lab reports every 4-6 months, for the better part of 3 years.

I decided to generate good records the day I began vaping, since there was so little research on vaping when I started, and it was my intention to pass this data along to somebody trustworthy, like Dr. F. :) It may be appreciated or of use by someone who can understand the numbers, tests, and lab reports.

Anecdotals alone don't mean much to me. I like to use actual science, backed up with values, numbers, and tests. ;)

So, mentioning a possible side effect of vaping that one is experiencing is considered to be "blaming"?

I see many anecdotals here about how vaping has helped people and alleviated certain symptoms. I have never questioned them, as I have experienced many good things.

Can you explain why it not equally permissible for individual vapers to discuss problems / obstacles they've encountered with vaping?

And/or why bringing those things up is considered "selling out the vaping community"?
