Ludo, Jeff et al. If I can suggest something? Amazon.com has a program called 'fulfillment by Amazon' where you can ship all your stuff to them, and they send it out for you. This covers shipping, packaging, etc. You can also run your website directly through them and have all product managed by them.

The problem isn't in the packaging and shipping. The problem is they don't currently have enough inventory to package and ship. ;) But it sounds like all customers who have been waiting patiently (or impatiently, for that matter :)) will have their orders.

analog2digital--No need to lash JW with the wet noodle. He's a nice guy with a legitimate beef who simply got beyond frustrated. I don't know about you, but I've certainly found myself in situations where I've allowed my frustration to get the better of me.

I distinctly recall one time threatening Alltel with legal action AND I said to the manager of the store, and I quote, "You are a man of so little intelligence that I'm surprised you can manage to get dressed, let alone operate a store." I also had a few choice words about integrity, fraud, and a few other lovely thoughts. Oh, yes, I did. Uh-huh. 8-o Needless to say, I have since mellowed a bit. vaping does that for you. ;)

You can't do pre-orders on the Amazon prog that I know of. If something is in transit, then you get a 'product will be available in 'x' amount of time' indicator. Or you can get an email flash that tells you when the product is ready. If stuff gets sorted straight through from the manufacturer, it's easier to keep stuff in stock.

Like Ludo said - all of this is picking up in intensity and a lot of people are ordering. I know today a big increase in cig taxes went into effect in Florida, so a lot of people are dumping that money into ecigs rather than pay for another carton.

I tried not to be too harsh on JW, I do understand he was frustrated. On the other hand, it did seem as though Janty did try to rectify the problem by offering the refund.

Also, I did receive my Joye510 from dietsmokes today, and it is marvelous (so far at least). Still waiting for my Dura-C.

I know that tax thing is one of the reasons I tried the ecig. BTW, I believe it was a federal tax hike, so it should affect all states.

I'm really sorry to see that Janty has the problems that they do. I really like their product, but like some of the posts that I have been reading, response seems to be very slow with regard to e-mails that I have sent. (As in no reply at all!) Oh well... Hey Jeff Get it together buddy! I don't want to see you fail!
(tee-hee!)

What might be going on (which I do think is quite wrong) is that they have kept some people waiting and without response to emails for so long that those people are very angry or dissatisfied with the company. So once they get inventory in-stock, they send it out to the more recent purchasers so that those people will be happy (and possibly give them a good review on the forums). On a slightly different hand, it would suck to make even MORE people unhappy, but if your company is shorting people or making them wait, that is the company's responsibility to own up to, and not try to hide behind "well, these other guys got their stuff".
