I have made single coil builds on the UD Goblin V2. I plugged the juice channels on the opposite side of the coil with tightly compressed cotton and have used it like that both ways: with and without the opposite air flow channel plugged. It still gives great flavor this way and doesn't get so hot. I found that with dual coil builds on this atty it gets very hot and drains my battery very quickly since I have to run it at double the wattage I like to vape at compared to a single coil.

I build mine (an $11 FT clone), around 0.4 ohms, wick it with Japanese cotton, run it at 40 - 45 watts and go through about 10mls of juice a day. So far it hasn't gotten noticeably hot but the fact it hasn't leaked is what surprises me the most. Functionally, it's a Fogger with double the airflow and better juice channels but both of my Foggers would leak every now and then as would the Orchids that replaced them. These days I lung inhale and the Goblin's enhanced airflow is well suited for it. I wouldn't want to build it single coil as with the current dual coil build a two second pull provides massive vapor, flavor and intensity much like taking a drag off of a good cigar (I vape NET). I don't think I would like it as much if I still inhaled mouth to lung. Instead, I would prefer a smaller chamber and single coil like the well used Lemo 2 (my last single coil atty), that sits idle in the same drawer all the other attys/mods I will likely never use again reside. Opening that drawer is a walk down memory lane, puts a smile on my face every time.

For flavor and smooth air flow...i would recommend billow v2. Building it is decent and quite simple for a dual coil. It has a 5ml tank but is shorter than the Lemo v2 and is capable of handling max/high vg with ease.

The Lemo v2 is a good single coil tank that's easy to build but suffers on performance at max/high vg unless you enlarge the juice hole. It has decent flavor and I love the top fill method. The air flow is massive but can be adjusted very easily if you want a more restricted airflow. The downside is that you will need to drain the juice before being able to access the coil deck and is prone to leak if the wicking is not done correctly.

Just so you know and sorry if it's already been said by one of the other posters but I find the Lemo really doesn't like builds below 1.2 ohm IMHO. Just a heads up. It's definitely not a sub ohm RTA. My favorite builds are anywhere between 1.2 and 1.5. Great tanks none the less.

I'm running all 3 of my Lemo 2 at 0.5 ohms, they all work excellent.

Kayfun V4. Crap deck. Stupid and useless AFC. Which doesn't matter anyway because it doesn't move enough air to keep a canary alive. Suck on a straw hard them put your finger over it and feel your eyes pop outta your head. OK flavor when it works but some dry hits. And they are outta the clear blue sky and oh momma are they bad. Never leaks until it does and then it drains the tank. The tank itself is great, possibly the best ever, and as luck would have it screws right on top of...............

Wow, it's amazing how two different people can use the same tank and have such a different experience. In one area, we agree... the air pull was pretty anemic until I switched it out with the sub-ohm pin. Now it's amazing. The deck is perfect to build on and top fill design is great! I've got a .12 ohm nickel build, running at 400 degrees and 25 joules. Every hit I've taken has been identically perfect, full of flavor and vapor. Never close to a dry hit, and not a drop has ever leaked.

I'm sorry your experience wasn't as positive, and I haven't tried all the other tanks, but that's only because my search has ended!

I'm with you on that, but I had to pull the AFC grub screw out to get what I consider "good" air flow.

Got my Lemo's today.

Using the stock build at 30 warts.

Its nice. Looks crazy easy to rebuilt. Two options for wire. The old school wrap around way which I hate and the through the post normal way I like. However nickel may cut that way so I'll have to see.

Looks real gooder so far.

Another TC mod followed me home from a trip to the city today so timing is great as my Sigelei TC coil is getting old and not super impressed with the Smok VCT.

Also enough rayon followed me home to make about 70000000000000000000000 wicks. I stopped at a vape shop in Cicero NY and offered rayon to all takers. So far I've just did a quick and dirty rayon wicking on my Silverplay but early results indicate itsgonna be a go.
