It's a combination of things, the simplest is just holding in the vapor for a little bit so it dissipates. Using PG also helps (less vapor produced). Puffing and then "drinking" a hot drink (slowly exhaling into the drink) is another method. Mainly it's doing whatever it takes to make your vaping less obvious.
Stealth vaping is usually done with a small that can be hidden by the hand and just means that the inhaled vapor is held longer so that it's can't be seen or very little is seen on the exhale so no one knows what your doing.
Oh how I love stealth vaping. I feel so sneaky! It has sure made shopping easier - no more trips outside to take a smoke break. I do not miss those days.
My version of stealth is an automatic 510 battery stuffed in a Sharpy body. Gets me through the work day pretty well.;-)

If you DIY then a stealth sauce is really easy to make. I use 90pg/10vg. I mix a 3ml bottle at 24mg/ml (I usually vape 11-12mg/ml) and add 1 drop of Ethyl Malto. This produces a nice TH and after a breath hold little to no vapor. The drop of EM adds a little cotton candy flavor to the mix.
alot of people stealth vape by holding their breath to make the vapor disapait, this is hard, especialy for x smokers with small lung capacities. Heres a Pro Tip: take a vape, take a second inhale after the first, you will exhale invisible vapor. Much easier than holding your breath.
Or for the plane stealthing you can try the coolest trick of all if you can not breath hold ------ Wait for the drink cart. Order coffee, take huge vape then blow into coffee like you are cooling it off. This works for about 6 or seven nice huge vapes!!!!! Use a coffee based flavored juice and you have taken stealth to a whole new level! I load a carto with BWB caramel cappucino when flying just for this trick.
Every time I exhale I just slap a huge handful of baby powder on my forehead. Sure I go through a lot of baby powder, but I haven't been caught yet.

LMFAO I tried this a few weeks ago too. I dunno how you managed man for me I started freaking out. My kit makes "plumes" of vapor and I looked up at it just hanging over my head for like a good 10 seconds! I think probably proper aiming of the A/C nozzle would help.
The other thing I do is vape in the can and exhale into an open sink drain. Even with that I freak though every time I hear a banging (pretty common in a plane lav.) I really don't like the paranoia thinking that someone is going to kick the door in
I stealth vape everywhere. I just inhale and casually exhale into my sleeve of purse or shirt.... I always wonder if I leave a lovely little scented trail around the stores...
Another great way to conceal is to just take a Blu and put a Bic pen cap on it. You can attach it to your shirt pocket and just grab a hit through the pen cap. You don't even have to take it out of your pocket. An bit of electrical tape to cover the led may be helpful to kill the led in a light colored shirt.
