Didn't check if the replacement coil actually worked before loading the tank full of juice.
Didn't check what my voltage was set to (ego twist) after charging, it magically set itself to max somehow.
Paid for express delivery when placing an order on a Friday.
Dropped my mod, tank has the tightest draw ever now.
Didn't get the upgraded 1000mah battery.
Blew into my drip tip to clear out condensation, inside rubber seal flies across the room.

To name a few.

While trying to think of stupid things I've done, I can really only remember the basics... burning my finger on a hot coil, unscrewing a clearo incorrectly etc. I do have a bad habit of building my dual coils and doing a test fire, only to find that one doesn't work... fiddle fiddle fiddle... oh, maybe I should tighten the - screw on that side!

I almost had a "good" one the other day. I just woke up and reached over to add a few drips to my RDA and picked up the wifes eyedrops instead. It wasnt till I had the bottle upside down and started to squeeze that I realized what I did. Thankfully, no drops made it in.

I also dropped a new 100 foot spool of Kanthal on the floor and it practically exploded. The whole spool unwound and tangled.

I was cliff climbing in northern italy recently and lost a peg. The only thing handy at the time was a solid but cheap SS 26650 clone so I hammered it in and finished my climb. I forgot to take the battery out and it over heated and exploded sending this boulder down on this house. I'd have gone down and apologized but I don't know how to say "Oops" in italian and the old lady there looked really .......

I actually did this last night........

I was building a dual coil on my Patriot RDA and I had all the wires clamped in. I had forgotten to lock the fire button on my Nemisis and as I was pulling the excess wire to the side to clip it off, I must have put pressure on the Mechanical and it fired. It made a good spark and where it was bent it made a POP noise and popped the coil.

Scared the crap out of me lol.

Moral of the story, lock your device when your building on it

Remember your not stupid until you do it Twice.............

Ok I want to share mine as I just did this last night.
I only recently got into rebuilding. Love it, so I was rebuilding the coil on my russian. Got it all nice and tightly wrapped. It was a thing of beauty. Put it on my my tester, 1.8. Perfect! Put it in my Provari. Fire. Nothing. Cold and dead... Check the resistance. Lo. Lo? Ok what the heck? Put it back on my tester. 1.8. Move the pin out further. Lo. Grr. Try my kfl. Lo. What the crap!! Rebuild coil. 4 times. Bash head against wall. Different battery. Nothing. Check Provari manual. Lo volts. Also can mean its off. Cry myself to sleep. :)
