I am just curious as to how long most people wait to recieve there order from this particular supplier. I decided to make my first order on june 29th based on the fact that I have heard nothing but great things about this particular suppliers juice. I sent an email on June 30th basically asking when I should expect the juice to be shipped due to the fact that I would be leaving town for the holiday weekend. I did fail to notice the disclaimer located on the website that said 6 days turn around time for all orders but I never even recieved an email back from this supplier regarding my questions until I sent another email on July 2nd saying that I had not heard anything in regards to my order other than email confirmation for the order. I recieved an email that stated she had overlooked my email and was sorry about not responding but due to the holiday weekend she was busy which I totally understand, I appreciated the fact that she did take time to assure me that my order would be sent and she would include a little something for my troubles and would be sending me a tracking number later that day for my order. Well two days later im guessing due to the post office being closed for the holiday, on July 5th I recieve a tracking number that basically just proves the shipping label has been printed and the post office has been made aware that the package will be shipping. Well it is now July 7th and not only have I not recieved my juice, the tracking number information has not been updated at all which leaves me to believe that this package has either not been shipped yet or was not shipped as stated it would be. So my question to anyone that has used this supplier in the past is this normal waiting time for juice?? I just wondered because all the suppliers I have used in the past I have never had to wait more than 2 days after shipped to recieve my items. I just hope this juice is as good as it is made out to be and worth the wait.

HI

OMG i am so upset. I EVEN PULLED your ORDER and said I was sorry for not seeing his email... put in some freebies and I see this..
I ASK AND I ASK PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM ME if you cannot wait. all i ask fo ris a little patience.
you ordered on the 29th with processing time of 6 days i should have until the 5th to do this order as UPFRONT AND HONESTLY STATED ON THE FRONT PAGE of the website.

I would like to add NORMALLY i am faster than the processing time but the holiday brought alot of orders.

Problem solved- any future HOLIDAYS 9whhich i would have liked to enjoy the 4th of july myself but was working) I will close.

things that you read about me are TRUE how could everyone be just typing this.

Please if you want to talk to me I have a phone and we could have worked this out on the phone as I do not feel i did anything wrong.

I hope my customers do repond to this and let you know how I am as a SUPPLIER.

This is the reason I almost DID NOT open again

THANK YOU DAWN

I was in no way knocking your service at all and sorry if you get a little riled up from someone placing there suggestions and concerns about your shipping times. I just find it amazing that people sometime wait up to 10 days after placing an order for their order to be started and shipped. I just hope this juice is worth the wait time you have indicated. I do know that based on the fact that you seem to not take any kid of criticism regarding your shipping times I will share us both the grief of another experience and will not be placing any more orders with your company.

Dawn doesn't deserve the criticism for being honest about doing everything by hand, and being honest by stating the actual wait times on her site.

The real problem is not being content with finding the actual information you were looking for on the site, and not letting it go.

Why would you need an actual response, when the information is right there?

Don't you know that for every five minutes someone spends responding to pointless emails, that's five minutes less you can spend doing work that actually matters?

It also fosters an mentality of having Dawn hold your hand for everything.

Keep in mind, its D.I.Y flavorshack. You are expected to be able to do a few things yourself.

that is fine with me as i stated i would rather have 5 customers than anyone unhappy. i should not have to defend myself when it is clearly stated on the website
and i have so many emails with you back and forth that i am taking away time that i could be getting orders out.
I do not get riled up a little with suggestions, I get riled up when it is suggested that i only printed a shipping label and didnt do the order, yes then i get a little upset.
and not ordering from me will be fine with me also.
I always go the extra mile and ALL I ASK FOR is PATIENCE.

thank you
DAWN

dawn's always done fine by me. sometimes she gets swamped and things take a little longer. i think all the "this supplier" instead of diyflavorshack or dawn makes your post sound like an attack. this supplier has both a business name and a personal name. she's made 1 or 2 mistakes on my orders and was always the sweetest person in the world when trying to rectify the situation. if you're really that desperate for juice you might consider planning a little farther ahead next time. dawn does make awesome juice and it is well worth the wait. yes it does take longer than some and yes postal tracking sucks. the tracking info may not show up til later the day after it was picked up for processing. so, in closing, just try to relax. treat others, if not the way you want to be treated at least as well as they treat you.

ESTIMATED PROCESSING TIME: 5 Days

thats from the front page of DIYFS website. You placed your order on June 29th. Counting 5 days... not 5 business days.. but simply 5 whole days, puts you at July 5th (the day you received your tracking #). : Typical turn around it would seem to me.

The ONLY discrepancy i can really see is the lack of a usps update from the time the label was created (July 5th) to current (July 7th). I cannot personally account for the scan steps the packages take once being received by usps. I know that at my place of business which has multiple UPS pick ups each day.. when we create the label, the driver picks it up at one of 3 times throughout the day, he does not scan it when he receives it, as far as i know the packages are not scanned their first time until they have cleared their local distribution hub, and are outbound to their next destination. Again, with the higher volume the parcel services are experiencing due to "catching" up from the holiday could very well explain this. and keep in mind: from USPS Tracking page: Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

As far as personal experience, i typically place my order every other Friday, placing 2 orders per month, and have been doing so since early April. in that time i have missed one Friday order due to budget issues that pay period. During the course of my ordering w/ DIYFS, i have had very consistent service. Dawns "freebies" in each order aside... (which we all get..) i have always received exactly what i ordered, exactly in the formulation i requested. On average, placing the order on a Friday, i get my confirmation immediately of course (auto response).. often i also get a follow up email response that is not an auto responder and usually have a brief friendly "thank you for your order..." and a nice chat within the email.

Ill use just my last two orders as reference..: Order Placed: June 4th... Tracking # received June 8th... Order Received, June 14th

Order Placed: July 2nd: Tracking Received, July 6th.. Order Received: Waiting.

Dawn is in Vegas Nv.. Im in Trenton SC/ Augusta Ga... so looking back through my order history.. these appear pretty consistent. The majority of the time "en route" is the result of snail mail.

Please keep in mind, DIYFS's juices are hand made "to order". This is not a drive through, while you can have it your way please allow adequate time for your order to be prepared and delivered to you. Trust me, im OCD and i go bat sheet crazy while waiting on my orders, but in the end, im always satisfied and always pleasantly surprised with goodies that i didn't ask for but humbly accept and cherish.

OP: sometimes the wait time for me is a few days, sometime more like 10. It just depends on how busy Dawn is and probably what you order. It's well worth the wait though.
Another thing that you should consider is that the USPS tracking system isn't entirely reliable. I have a package in the mail from Dawn and it's either been chilling out in the Vegas sorting facility for the last 2-3 days, or it's here in Denver and they just didn't bother to scan it last night.

Chances are they didn't bother to scan it. USPS is really just delivery confirmation NOT active package tracking.

Yeah, that's what I think too, although I have had packages sit in sorting facilities for several days before they were scanned again at the next destination. Either way, the behavior of a shipping company is one variable that a supplier has no control over. People need to take this into account.

WOW!
I never thought others would have it better than I.
All my orders, either from Dawn, or anyone else, my tracking #'s of late never and I mean NEVER show up until AFTER I get my package. I'm always talling my PO deliverer that it just plainly ...You know what I wantto say there..
They are getting worse and worse with the tracking. Also, it IS suppose to track when, where it goes thru and from and to every day..
I believe thay do this on purpose as they have been crying about how far in debt they are and don't want to deliver on Sat's anymore..
The longest I ever waited from Dawn was 3 weeks and that wasn't her fault. It was MY PO fault as they can't delive my package due to my reg driver being on vaca and the sit in's don't deliver pkgs.. Absurd, really..

Dawn, I have had nothing but great things from you so far. I placed and order on the 4th and got it today. With the holiday I understand and really, its funny, it came just when I needed it. Today I had a crappy day and when I got home, there it was on my door step to cheer me up.

If we were ordering books or a new movie, none of us would complain about them but since your dealing with peoples nicotine cravings and there need for juice, there very hostile. I appalude you for even deciding to try to sell juice, I know I couldn't do it.
