I have been vaping for about 2 to 3 weeks now, have spent several hundred dollars and still can not put the analogs down. I know I can and will just getting over the hump is a b otch. I am only smoking about a half a pack or less of analogs a day but I am ready to smoke zero. Started out with the Blu’s, moved up to the E-Power, then came the Silver Bullet and Maxi RoughStack, what’s next? I have a pass through on the way, actually two. I wanted the vv pass through from gotvapes and they were sold out and that ...... me off so I bought the regular one from them and one from madevapes. I can at least stack two 16650 in the Maxi RS and get a 7.4v hit but that is just a little but to much and get the burnt taste. I guess the next step is a vv. The Provari is about $200 is it worth it? or can someone suggest another model. Thanks.:confused::confused:

i have not reset my signature but i will soon

You got some nice mods their.... If they are not doing it for you it might not be the mods but your juice... you could try upping your nic level to get you through the cravings... Or try the Roughstack at 5 or 6 vlts with an atty that has the appropriate resistance....

How much and what did you smoke before vaping?
What nic level are you currently vaping?

More info would be good for getting good feedback before plopping down 2 bills for another mod just yet....

Holy smokes! I don't know if spending any more money is going to help. Looks like you already have quite an arsenal of equipment. Maybe just some patience with yourself. I didn't quit smoking cigarettes immediately upon starting vaping, either. It was a process for me. I chewed nicotine gum, snuff, vaped, AND smoked for weeks. Finally, I quit everything except the nic gum. When I got an irresistible craving for a cigarette, I would use my Blue and that would typically relieve the obsession. A few times, I broke down and bought a pack of smokes. Then I would start over again and try the same technique. Eventually, I found success.

Don't worry about the stupid signature and how long you can go without smoking. Just know that every time you vape instead of smoking a cig you are doing yourself a favor. Every day is another chance to go smoke free. Don't kick your own ... if you slip up.

I still smoked analogs for several weeks as well when I first started e-cigs.... One day after about a month I decided to not buy analogs any more and I had all that I really needed in my PV....

Yeah hang in there, you'll make it with that attitude. I personally shy away from LR attys & cartos, makes every thing taste burnt to me. I've also stayed away from the mods & BIG e-cigs. I'm real happy with an Ego or Riva battery with a Boge cartomizer or a 306 atty. I recently picked up eGo-T & like the convenience, but not crazy about the taste. I did break my own rule & got the LR atty, so that may be part of it. I'm gonna try the regular atty before I give up on the tank. I brand of juice I use just doesn't seem to work well with LR anything.
Good luck

Remember that for some of us it may take longer to quit entirely; but as long as you cut down and end up vaping a small number of analogs on a regular basis; you could move on from there slowly reducing to zero analogs. It seems some of us may be craving more than nic (possibly MAO Inhibitors which together with nicotine translate into the key behind the chemical dependance...). At least I was, at first. Eventually I could stay away from analogs completely.

A bit of 'strong will'; personal commitment is of the essence in such cases, though, finding the right set up is also a main ingredient to success. And so, I think that a PROVARI is to most e-cigs what a Ferrari to the rest of the cars out there. Does it really make for a huge difference? Oh, boy!!! It DOES. Certainly.

Just my 2 cents, anyway...!

What MG of nic juice you running ? I would think its more on the line of that to stop your analog use then Mods, the Silver bullet, Maxi rough Stack, and even the E-Power should be plenty for vape power as long as you have some decent Atty/Carto gear ! Do you have any 36mg/24mg Nic juice ? you hit 36mg and you be getting enough Nic that you shouldn't be wanting any Analogs at all I would think. Provari and especially the Darwin are well worth it !

That's it I am getting one, I think I should be able to find my sweet spot there. When I hit 7.4v it gives me the th I am looking for and need. But I can’t sit there and hit 7.4v like I do with SB or E-Power (3.7v) and that is my problem. I think if I can dial in the voltage and find just what I want that will help me. Thanks guys, peace.

I have smoked True Blue since 1977, at least 2 pad and cheated by covering the holes on the filter. If anyone is familiar with this brand half of the filter is a plastic mouth piece so it has a short filter. I guess it would be more like a Marlboro red than a light cig.

i am using 18mg, 24mg, i might need to go up?

When I started vaping I dropped analogs completely the first day and didn't pick them up again. The wife was a different story, it took a couple weeks for her to stop using analogs. Now a year later she's picked up analogs again! 1/3 PAD in addition to vapin'. Gosh analogs stink! Everybodys different be it alcohol, drugs, or ciggarettes. I tried to smoke a marlboro last night and cannot for the life of me imagine ever going down that road again. I take comfort in the thought that when I decide to give up vapin' that it will be easier than quitting analogs cold turkey because of all the other crap in em' that I was also addicted to. The body and mind crave what it's used to even if it's poison.

It took me into 3 weeks of vaping to get off analogs and that wasn't until I upped my nic. level to 24 vs 18. Even at that I was chain vaping. It's been a bit less than a week now no analogs totally. For me it was my location to whether or not I wanted a real one (fine at home, feigning at work). I was 1.5-2 PAD myself pall mall menthols. Slowly weened myself down. For some it's not only the nicotine your fighting getting off of but the other chemicals in analogs which are way more addicting. Analogs actually contain anti-depressants which further pull you into the addiction. For the lucky ones the switch is easy, for others its not. I've read others in these forums with same problem found the use of snus while vaping helped a lot. Keep in there, don't give up. Kinda like Baron stated, its not how many analogs you still smoke a day it's all about how many you don't smoke from where you were.

Here's what I did: first, change your analog brand. In other words, go to something you hate. My suggestion - American Spirit organics. These have no additional addictive chemicals and they taste terrible. Perfect. Next, go to a 36mg liquid. Really power up the juice. Then, get an Ego Booster which will work work with your E-Power and give you variable voltage vaping so you can determine a sweet spot. Stop buying battery-related stuff and concentrate on atomizers/carts which work for you. Last, never go without your PV - suck on it constantly and in places where you wouldn't be allowed, or allow yourself to smoke. Worked for me, and I thought I'd never quit smoking...
