I smoked cigarettes. I didnt like the smoke the taste the tar in my lungs. I didnt like what it did to my body. Ive tried to quit every other way possible. Currently Im satisfied getting my nicotine from the ecig. Ive cut back slightly since ive started but the act of smoking is whats keeping me here. Its too enjoyable for me to stop. I was told it was healthier and after switching it definately is.

Top two reasons for me:

1) My health--Until this year I didn't have any of the typical smoker's problems (and I've been smoking 2 packs a day for 20 years), but recently I've become out of breath more easily and I had brochitis twice this winter when I usually don't get sick at all.

2) My father died of esophageal cancer, which was most likely caused by his smoking. And cancer runs strongly in my mom's side of the family.

I had tried all the other means with no success, but happened upon the e-cig and now I'm mostly quit analogs. Down to 3 or so a day, which is pretty good considering my former habit, and hope to be down to none by the end of the week.

The taxes got me interested. I was just fed up. I had switched to Roll Your Owns after the tax hike on packs. Then they went and upped the tax on Roll Your Owns so I went looking for an alternative. I thought about growing tobacco for myself but I live so far north I didn't know if it would work well. The I came across one of the free trial deals. Well I don't trust anyone who claims they are going to give me something for nothing so I found this place. The more I read the better it sounded.

Less taxes and I get my lungs and taste buds back. Works for me.
