Obama stimulus package,is one big give away. I dosn't pay to pay you bills and work hard for what you get. Lie, cheat, lay on your buns and get it all freeee, I said FREEEE.

Bad for use workers health. Worse than analogs, and for sure worse than Personal Vaporizers.

Where exactly do you get any of this nonsense?

The stimulus package has nothing to do with people who lied cheated or laid about. It's about reinvesting in the infrastructure of this country to undue some of the damage that 30 years of republican irresponsiblity has brought about.

You know maintinence on bridges (so they don't collapse) upgrades to roadways so we can drive to our jobs upgrades to our electrical grid so it can more efficiently route power where we need it and not needlessly waste capacity.

We tried it your way for 30 years and we've ended up wtih the worst economic disaster since the last time we tried it the free marketeer way.

Reagan and Bush 1 ran the debt into the stratosphere. Before Reagan the National debt was a couple hundred billion (that was after 2 world wars and multiple police actions including all the bilions wasted in Vietnam) Ronnei raygun took that to 3 trillion Clinton managed to pay it down a bit and then Shrub and his Republican cronnies took that and drove it to around 10 trillion.

So Republicans and can just shut the frack up about spending you have no credibility.

Well I would say analogs are the worst. I personally didnt ask for my husband to get stage 4 lung cancer and now have to depend on assistance from the govenment so I am thankful its there. I will say I did vote for Obama and will give him the respect earned. If in 4 years things are the same or worse then I will vote again for who I think may help all the people of the US. I am an independant and voted for Bush and I apologize to all the people for a poor choice in the voting booth. I am human and make mistakes, luckily I try to learn from them and not repeat those mistakes.

First of all, the % of the spending bill that actually goes to rebuild our infrastructure is about 30 billion or less than 5% so that's really not a valid argument. They could have put several hundred billion into really rebuilding our roads and bridges but that would have pulled too much money away from Pelosi and others pet projects (read pork).

Second, you really have no leg to stand on when you site Republican spending. Sure, it's been bad the last eight years but if you look historically, your party has far outspent the right with a high degree of consistency. Clinton was the exception and I was behind him but this new guy thinks money just grows on trees. The budget + spendulus + all the other crap getting rammed through right now amounts to the largest spending spree ever in the history of mankind. Obama's deficit will be more than 3 times larger than any other in history of the world.

If you think tearing down the most successful people in this country will help the little guy one iota, then I seriously question your intellect. Who do you think provides jobs and buys new houses and cars and employees thousands of people in this country. It's not the guys at the bottom. Sure they need help, guidance and support, but not handouts.

I've gotten off on a rant here....I thought I came in here to read about vaping?:)

Economic problems are global. The global economy is "challanged". It's just the course of normal history. Things get good, then things get bad, then things get good again...

Just in case any of you take a ride in the Cash Cab, there is a nursery rhyme that teaches kids that...

"The itsy bitsy spider
Crawled up the water spout
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain
And the itsy bitsy spider
Crawled up the spout again.

(depending on your local, sometimes itsy bitsy is substituted for eensy weensy)

This global setback is only temporary. If you are blessed with a home and a job, then share whatever you can with a "neighbor" in need... Or as my mom always told me, "Don't curse the darkness. Light a candle." Each of us is empowered to change things... and all the little things add up, like in the movie Pay It Forward...

Hi,
I'm new here but I must say, MonkeyMonk, how eloquently spoken. Although, I do agree that bush dragged America down, financially and our reputation. But as you say, people are so whiny, everyone thinks they exclusively are the one that deserves, but the other guy doesn't, selfishness. There is nothing one person does that gives him more of a right to the necessities of life than another, that's how I feel. We should all be grateful for what we have, and share when possible.
