I spend a lot of time on that thread. As for predictions, your guess is as good as mine.

Will Judge Leon rule it a tobacco product? If he does, then we may say goodbye to flavors and refillable carts.

Will he rule it a drug/device, then it may be banned until testing is done that satisfies the FDA.

Will he rule it a new device that doesn't fit any category. IMO that would be the best ruling, because maybe the FDA would leave us alone.

Will he ever release his ruling? That's the BIG question!

All up in your grill..
I predict that E-cigs will be banned outright and that a unilateral tobacco tax will be implemented raising the average pack cost to $15 per pack nationally. This will happen within 2 years. Also they will tattoo barcodes on all of us and begin killing anyone who makes under 10 thosuand a year and grinding them up for dog food. Paper money will be abolished and all transactions will involve a microchip implanted in our thumbs at birth. I will be hunted down and executed along with anyone else who has been vocal about how corrupt our government is.

I didn't get this from a tarot reading or anything. It's just a guess.

I think within a year or so we will all be underground. Big tobacco who has run our country since the days of the colonies, have billions and will win. Vaping will become a closed door thing like drugs. We will get supply like they do, but it will cost a lot.

I hope it wont happen...but I live in New Jersey...we are one step closer to this already.

I'm still confused as to what's at stake here. An outright ban on e-cig kits, or individual components too?? You can't ban a battery... an atomizer? What if you just wanna vape straight VG? And what about nicotine liquid? I thought nicotine wasn't a controlled substance. Is that up for revision too?

That's a good question. Who knows what they will do, they are the government, they can do whatever they want to.

Wondering if anyone had any predictions regarding the FDA and E-Cig outcome? Will they regulate the e-cig including cartridges, atomizers and the batteries? Do you have any thoughts regarding juice? Will we only be able to get carts with regulated levels of Nic?

All depends on BT.
If BT makes the (sensible) decision that PV’s are a worthwhile manufacturing/marketing investment, we will be in vapor heaven forever.
That would equal a win-win-win: state revenues-government revenues, BT revenues.
And we can look forward to some good old American know-how, innovation, and ingenuity for a change,
like rotating “swivel” tips, and e-juice sold in insert able “gel” packs.
The only money interest that would oppose such a development would be Pharma.
We need to be appealing to BT not the FDA.
