This might be my stupid question of the day (i'm allowed one per day) but will the Odysseus fit the P+?

Yea, it fits a P+ and works perfectly because of the adjustable center pin... Now, I love my P+ and I love the ODY but I don't necessarily like them together that much. I know I'm probably too picky but to me the ODY is just a little too wide for the P+ or the P+ is too narrow for the ODY, whichever way someone wants to look at it. Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible... This specific setup just doesn't look as perfect as I would prefer it, that's all.

I completely agree with you on the looks of it. I was just referring to operation. If the finish was matched up and the OD could be turned down though...

For the juice I use, I get the most flavor and best hit using IKV 1.6Ω single coil clear cartomizers. However, I do not like the look or durability of the clear tubes, so I remove them and use silver metal tubes from old cartos instead. A Precise with a silver tube and a SS shorty tip is the look I like best.
I love the idea of replacing the clear tubes with the metal. I don't like the durability or look of the clear cartos either, especially when vaping a flavor like vanilla and it's looks really brown & dirty! lol Thanks for the idea!

I'm using a smoktech dual coil carto on my 18500, and I like it much better than the atty I started with. The flavor of my juice is much "cleaner" using the carto. I don't like the clear casing however, it tends to crack at the bottom and is not very aesthetically pleasing. I'm going to get a carto with a metal body next. I think it will suit me well.

The Smoktech DCC Tanks work very well for me on the go, and at work.
I had the same issue with the clear carts, cracking, and color changing... :?:

The smoktech 1.5 dc tanks take care of all of that, and are really cheap. I have 2. Love them!

What atty were you using? The DCA306 looks promising, if you like 306 attys without leaking!

Now there you go. Odysseus in drip mode on the PrecisePlus 18350:
TjQcW.jpg

I honestly hate the tip of the Odysseus, i understand why it was designed that way, but I just dont like it...
do you think that i could be chopped and drilled out to a inner dia. that would fit a 510 drip tip? Is there enough metal to hold a drip tip?

im not saying that i would buy one to do it, but may be good info for those that do want to...

I don't think there is enough metal there, it's *just* the wrong size for milling down or reaming out. ;) While mine was en route I was having the same idea.
But...it grows on you real fast when you have one. Seriously.

I agree about the mouthpiece, but Ody > any ce2, carto or atty I've ever tried. You'd get over it fast. But I must admit, if I'm not using one of my two Ody's, I got a T tip attached to whatever I am using to make vapor. I have 7.

And you could thread the inside and put an evtension on it, but it would be insanely long unless you milled some off the top as well.

 Yeah, I've been thinking we all got into the wrong line of work.

Naw, I'm happy where i am... LOL My CAD skills are pretty high up there (working at a structural engineering firm).
I just need someone that would make my CAD files come to reality...

Machining shops are expensive and sparse In a big city  especially for single production.

I hear ya on that. But I work in a 5 axis machine shop, so I don't feel your pain. Unfortunately I DO live in the city. So it's a mixed bag.
