Today I am going with the Orient OS300 w/ auto in house movement. Very accurate.

Nice mudman, I had one at one time but it didn't have red buttons. I like that aspect of it.
As for the gauge on the Orient.....it is a power reserve indicator. This particular movement has around 42 hrs of power before it needs wound again. But if you wear it it winds with wrist movement.

Thanks for the comment about the thread. I tried searching and came up with nada so I just started it up.

I have a cousin that is in a private military company and retired Air force ( AC-130 gunship ) that wears a Sunnto always.

I have a Couple of Watches for when I'm wearing a Nice Clothes. But that G-Shock is what is on my Wrist 360 Days out of the Year. It is about Indestructible.

Your Cousin flew on a Spooky, Cool. That is One Bad Azz piece of Hardware. When you look up the phrase "Death From Above", chances are there is going to be a Picture of an AC-130 next to the Description.

Have owned three plain ol' Casio 50M W-71s in da past 40+ years with no complaints (lost one while cast netting)... maybe three replacement batts. Can't count da number of watch bands I've gone thru though!

I have my Dad's ol' Rolex Oyster Perpetual that hangs on a candle wall sconce... never wore it. Status, fashion and bling ain't my thing!
