So what is this NJOY starter kit made of?

There are those who are successful using tiny stick battery models. But there easily appears to be a much higher percentage who find the cig-a-likes inferior in performance in comparison to better battery models. And then there is the cost factor as detailed in the above post.

I would be fine with models like the Blu or njoy if they also offered an upgrade to a better performing model AND didn't lie about their over-priced product and what it provided. I can't remember seeing one post from some vaper who uses a model like the Kgo, Provari, etc stating they don't work well, vaping is a scam, so I'm going back to analogs. I've seen hundreds of posts like that (and personal interactions locally) about models like Blu, njoy, Smoke 51, etc. And unfortunately, most people are not persistent enough to find a site like this and find better options.

When a model like the Blu or NJoy can provide 10 - 12 hours on a battery charge, allow the user to adjust the warmth of the vapor, not die due to liquid getting in the battery and not diminish in performance as the battery drains, I will be the first to state what a great PV it is.

I see all sorts of reference to battery types, model discussions etc...What I can't figure out on here or on the NJOY site is what type of battery is this and what kind of refillable cartomizer can I use? For now, I've easily been able to pop off the top of the cartomizer and drip juice into it...my concern is long term that plastic tube is going to wear out and not have a good seal. Anyone know why the big secret or lack of info on this forum? Perhaps i just don't know how to search properly :)

Njoy is a great starter and intro to vaping, but I dont think it will satisfy you for long. Most people switch to battery/tank combos and the difference is mind blowing. I use Ego/Joytech batteries and Mini Vivi Nova tanks. Then you order juice from reputible places like mtbaker, Johnson's Creek, or High Brow Vapors and puff away. Its cheaper in the long run too. Always buy backups is all I can say.

Yeah, Blu tries to say each of their little cartridges are the equivalent of a pack of ciggs. Not even close. They last for an evening and die. I appreciate Blu and what they are trying to do, but the quality just isnt there yet, not like with battery/tank systems. Im so much happier with my egos and novas than I ever was with Blu.

Yeah, really. One cartridge=one pack of traditional cigarettes? Give me a break! Why don't they just %$#@ on everyone's head and then try to convince them it's raining? As my wife likes to say: "If you're going to lie, at least make it a believable lie."

So a simple inquiry to figure out the specs of the NJOY kit I have has turned into this big f'g argument. Way to threadjack it into what's better, an off the shelf cheap simple ecig or some monstrosity of equipment assembled cared for and cleaned on a daily basis. I'm not stupid, I recognize you can put a f'g divers helmet on with a regulator and a big friggin thing of juice on your back and get better performance than my NJOY. Someone referenced "most people" won't be satisfied and move on to whatever, blah blah blah. Maybe this fraction of the population on this particular forum would seem to validate such a comment. In reality, NJOY sells millions of these things to people like me. My intention is not to trade one stupid habit for another, albeit likely better for me. My intention is to get off of nicotine and inhaling anything other than air into my lungs. For that purpose, I'd HIGHLY recommend my NJOY setup, a refillable cartomizer and a few bottles of juice in a flavor you like.

ps. Please do not buy the NJOY carts. Are they out of their minds? $21.99 for 5 cartomizers? WTH??

lol. Yeah, the price is absurd, especially considering how long they last.

I order them from time to time, simply because I love the taste. They char real easy if you're not extremely gentle/careful, and even if you are they don't last very long at all (I could easily go through 3 or 4 a day), but the taste is good enough that I order a bottle of the 1.8% every couple months for giggles.

Silly waste of money, but a nice treat now and then (like the King).

Plus their customer service is insanely kool. My last order was delayed a week - I called and they sent me not only *two* bottles of 1.2% cartos, but *three* King disposables to "get me by"..hot damn nice one NJOY.

Yes, I get it WV, there are Porsche's out there and I'm driving a Hyundai...an elantra at that. Like I've said I'm not looking for this for the long haul and I do enjoy the cig a like attributes of the njoy. I'd just like a refillable cart so I don't continue to have to pop a spent one open. To Synergis point, Njoys customer service is likely unparalled. I called to inquire as to how they claim to be equal to 2 packs as I find they're spent in likely what I'd consider 3/4 of a pack. Their response was "3 or 4 puffs was equivalent to a whole analogs worth of nicotine, sorry for the confusion, how bout we send you a couple 5 packs and an extra battery for the trouble of the call looking for an explanation"? Insanely good customer service, though you're paying for it IF you continue to purchase their carts which I don't plan to be doing. I do love their flavor though, will likely treat myself from time to time.

I'm glad it works for you. Based on 4 years of talking to and reading posts from noobs, you are the exception, which is the point I am making. I wouldn't have a problem with the Blu/NJoy brands if they did two things: provided an upgrade model and stop lying about their product. It's a shame so many continue to smoke because they think this is all there is.
