there are for sure trade offs ...some people do however prefer them to needle fill... etc.. but at the end of the day there is no perfect vaping product ...we will always continue the search :p
We've come a long way in the last year or so and I think we're getting close with the T3, they've set the bar very high now...I can't wait to see what topps it!

but,,,,but,,,,,What ?

But... there's always little changes that could be made to improve the design.

IMHO:

Its not real pretty.
The graduation marks on the outside make it look like a medical device.
The cup seal inside should be moved farther away from the wicks.
It should be easier to remove the center post for dry burning.
It should have a pocket clip.

One change I'd make is instead of a textured base I'd like a smooth base so that I can lable the flavor.
I plan to use different bases for different flavors.

A self cleaning mode would be nice too :)

and,,and,,,and you don't want much,,LOL

I like the knurled bottom piece,,it gives it the feel of a well made device.

as far as a label,,,put it on the chrome piece above the knurl .

Well...you asked.

I like the look of the knurled base too. It breaks up all the chrome.

I like the look and feel of the knurled piece too, but it prevents me from labling the base. It's cheaper to buy several bases than tanks. I have several bases that I use for different flavors and want to easily mark them so one tank part can more easily accomodate different flavors without a complete clean.

Putting the lable on the chrome area will mark the tank section, but not the coil/wick/base.

Time to hit the beauty isle and pick up some fingernail polish for color coded dots on them bases! :p
ssssh, I won't tell!

;)
Then I’ve got to carry around a laminate chart decoding the color dots to juice flavor. :D
A HUGE step back since I’ve standardized on a label printer for all my other devices. I like sticking labels on my cartos, tanks, clearo’s and CE3’s this is one device where it won’t work.

This is not a biggie, just pointing out how this could be improved for me as the discussion turned to what the ultimate device would be like. It still vapes great, and it has quickly become my go-to device alongside the CE3’s

i'll be honest,,,The T3s are all i am using right now since they are so easy to fill and clean,,,i carry them in my TEE shirt pocket with no problem,,,,it all about changing one's perception of the things you want to do.

I'm split between the T3 and CE3 using both about equally.

The CE3 is my choice for 78's and when I'm out and about and want a PV I can pocket. A large battery with a T3 on top is a bit bulky in my jeans pocket.
At home the T3 is my go-to device.

For filling the T3 wins hands down, for a quick rinse I like the T3, for deep cleaning I like the CE3. The two little loose wicks on the T3 tend to fall apart. I'm going to get extra wicking material to change those out when they self distruct.

Both are great products, and I love having them as a combination to solve almost any vaping need.

Yep, that's what I read too. However, 0.040" is pretty tiny stuff. I've seen several suppliers with 1-1.5mm silica wick in stock but it's kindofa rip pricewise. I also saw somebody had tried Zippo lighter wicks but didn't see the results.

What size wick material are you going use? I read on another thread that it is 1mm silica wick, but that might not be right.
