I'm at work right now, but I found a supplier that was selling 2' pieces for less than a buck. The only reason I didn't order any yet was because shipping will cost more than the wick material, and I didn't see anything else on the site I wanted. I'll let you know later on.

BTW... is 0.040" the size of the individual threads?

I'm assuming 1mm (0.040") is the diameter of the entire "rope" of wick. Not the individual strands.

Your right... I didn't realize how small a mm is until I converted it, but those wicks are real small.
