Buying large bottles of ejuice, when I didn't know if I would like them.

Buying several bottles of the same ejuice, only to find out later I'm sick of the flavor.

Buying a sampler pack that only comes in 28mg when I vape at 6 to 0 mg. (it was in small print at the bottom of the description)

Not paying attention to the cost of replacement heads when buying a tank. (actually my friend makes this mistake)

When we first found out about vaping and how you can quit smoking, my wife went to a B&M down in the US that is the only place around. I didn't know nothing about vaping, gear or juice. She came home with 2 higher end ego kits(SMOK batteries and rebuildable CE4's) and paid $129.00 for each kit. I then found out what those kits were really worth and almost had a heart attack, since then I've been researching and comparing almost every purchase so getting scorched like that won't happen again.
Thanks to ECF coops I can buy with confidence I'm getting the top shelf namebrand gear that I'm paying for and not opening up my vapemail and getting a knockoff that was misrepresented in a website. Thumbs up to all the co-op runners.

Cigalikes.

'nough said.

Those scared me away from all ecig systems for a long time. My failed experimentation with them was awful despite glowing reviews across the board.

This technology has come so far it's hard to even group pre-filled cartos and 90mah batteries in the same category as current tech.

My first and by far biggest mistake was using the greensmartliving e-cigs. perhaps they work for some people, but I ended up having to buy 3 of the starter kits(3@$20) to keep the batteries anywhere close to charged. the price of the cartridges was high as well(5 cartridges for $14, each lasting a day or less). Fortunately I discovered very quickly that the end of the cartridges could be pried off and less expensive e-liquid could be carefully dripped into the used cartridges.... but I was still smoking cigs, not many, but enough that it was a considerable expense. here in washington pre-rolled cigs go for $7-10 per pack!!!!

HONESTLY I wish I would have coughed up (pun intended) the $60 for the itaste MVP and $20 for the protank2 at the beginning. I would have 3 more months of complete smoke free living). I really wasn't getting the full vape experience and struggled needlessly with the cessation part. LOL, plus I'm thinking of all the times that my cell phone went dead in that time that I could have simply charged from the MVP:)))

Overpriced vape shops have their place. Sometimes they charge extra for ambiance and cache (I'm looking at you un-apologetically Henley vaporium).

Frankly, that ambiance can be a good thing to those not yet converted. It's not just a numbers and facts battle that we should be waging.
Buying cartos and kit from convenience store. Waste of money!

I was using top fed atty's instead of bottom fed like the protanks.
ok, so everyone seems to say this... that the bottom-feeder Protanks are supposed to be soooooo much better flavor and everything else, etc. etc. So I got a Protank 2 mini, and wondering if THAT was a mistake. (albeit an inexpensive minor one, lol), cause I'm getting MUCH tastier flavor from my iClear16 top feeder. After 2 days I still like it way better.

what's up with that???

They may have been talking about bottom coils. I believe both of your tanks are bottom coil. I was on a Iclear kick for a while until I decided the wicks are a pain to get around, for filling.
