Alright. The poll is up. Whatever the vote is by 4pm EST today will be what I order for a guy I work with who heavily smokes. He left it up to me to choose the best one for him. Thanks guys.

My mom chain smokes and although the 901 worked for me, it did not for her. I get her an 801 and she quit right away. I think it is because of 2 main factors: 1: vapor production, 2: she doesn't have to fill it every 10 minutes.

For a chain smoker I would reccomend the 801 hands down.

Alright guys I am "unofficially" closing the polls (I should of set a damn limit in the beginning). Thank you so much for all the responses. The verdict is in and I am going to order the Joye 510 for him with some liquid.

Note: Stike I hear ya man. I think the 4081 gets a real bad rap, but hey I can't make the argument like you can as you have tried the SD.

Thanks again guys!

The thread is pretty simple. Just vote and post a comment if you feel the need. This is NOT what you would recommend to quit BUT what YOU USED to quit completely and successfully .... before venturing off to other models for fun.

I started with a 901 and from the moment I took my first vape, I never had another analog to date. However, I voted for the 510 because less then a week after I got my 1st PV, I got the 510... and it has kept the cravings for an analog non-existent.

You know my answer. One puff on the 4081, and I never touched another stinkie stick.

And yes, it *does* get a bad rap, but you wouldn't believe how many users there are in this Forum, that just won't speak up for fear of getting bashed. Most questions are conducted by PM, and I get loads of them.

First e-cig - Black Joye510.
E-cig quit analogs - Black Joye510.
Time quit - the day Black Joye510 arrived. :D
Difficulty - 2/10 (had a little learning curve)

I'm on day 28 now - no problems at all. Been using 2 batts in rotation and almost one atty exclusively. Nothing died so far with somewhat moderate to hard vaping. I am actually stunned to how easy this was/is!

Wonder if it would've been harder with another model...

PS: Have to get everyone voted!

I'm double fisting it with a Prodigy in my left hand and a PS/PT in my right! :)

Almost 96hrs analogue free and I can't believe how easy this is.

I also have a couple 510s for backup. I think it's all about backup options, I think. Plenty of juice, atomizers, and at least a couple of different devices because I don't think I would last if I was two or days shipping time away from my next vape.

I quit using the 510......about six batteries in rotation MIN, with a 5 at time charger and the PCC.
Things change a lot in the ecig world, I would NOT recommend the 510 for a heavy smoker. We have better stuff available now.

Very good point Rose. What a lot of us used to switch are older technology, and we experienced users have almost always discovered better solutions from that which first helped us get off cigarettes. So, it probably isn't too logical to recommend those 'first successful' PVs to a beginner of today.
