I thought it would be interesting to see how long people have been off analog cigarettes due to switching over to using vaporized nicotine. When did you quit analogs?

Note: Please do not select one of the options that, as of this posting. are in the future--even as a joke. The reason I included future dates was so that this poll can continue to be of value to us in the future as more people join our ranks.

I got my PV in Jan this year and quit smoking (NOT by design or intention) about 10 days later. I'd have to add that I did NOT buy the PV as a means to quit smoking, merely as a way to cut down on cigs, and ended up quitting smoking as a side effect. I'll also add that I have NEVER quit smoking prior to this and did in fact believe that I would never be able to quit (smoked for 20 years).

Got a 510 kit in the mail 2/20....smoked last analog 2 HOURS! later. No big deal really...unless you consider that I mostly bought it because I'm just that much of a geek that I gotta have all the new "toys" and I NEVER wanted to quit...I loved smoking.....LOVED IT...til I found vaping!

Oh and I only smoked two packs of analogs a day for 33 years....and never once quit except for a month on cigars lol.

Two months without a cigarette is great......two months with no DESIRE for a cigarette...priceless

October 13, 2008... My Birthday... But that's my stop smoking date.

I have another date...

June 6, 2009... Stopped using Stonewall hard snuff dissolvable tobacco tablets.

So during that time I was switching between the e-cig and Stonewall only because I didn't want to throw away my tablets. I still ended up giving away 5 boxes of them to somebody else, because I just didn't want them anymore. I found my vaping configuration and settled into it.

Sometimes people forget about the multi-user. At one point prior to the 2008 date I was smoking, using nicotine gum, and using Stonewall. I used Stonewall to get off the NRT (much cheaper, plus the gum made my tongue swell). So then I rotated between smoking and Stonewall. I used the e-cig to replace my smoking. Then I finally stepped up the e-liquid strength to eliminate the Stonewall too.

Did anybody else have a journey like that?
