I just cleaned a used coil (vodka) and did my first re-wick (cotton) Even with reading glasses AND a magnifier it was tricky! I forgot to prime the wick before putting chimney back on, but it worked OK and no burnt taste (waited over 10 minutes) Don't know if I can actually do a re-coil, but at least I can do new wicks... it's a start.
