I started off at 18mg per the insistence of the shopkeep (found out later he didn't know what he was talking about since I was a "Camel Light 99" smoker) but that dropped the first night when I went somewhere else and bought a 12mg liquid.

I stuck with 12mg for the first 1+ years, and only this weekend did I purchase my first sub 10mg bottles of liquid. Bought two 6mg liquids. The only reason was simply that they didn't have any in 12 and said they won't be carrying this brand anymore so I bought the two bottles of 6mg. Gotta be honest, I don't really feel any difference, I think at this point I could actually drop vaping all together since I don't actually vape much at all anymore. Couple puffs (maybe 3 to 4) on the drive in to the office, about the same on the way home, and if I've had any alcohol at home then I might puff 10 or 20 times in the night, but without anything to drink I might only puff 3 to 5 times after dinner. But I don't want to quit so I just keep on vaping.

I was a tobacco smoker for 32 years. I started out on "Parliament" then graduated to Marlboro Red, then camel non filtered (because dear old granddad smoked them) and finally down to Camel light 99.

My partner has reduced his nic levels to 6mg as well. He went first since he went sub-ohm first and found that he couldn't handle the 12mg anymore. Personally I found it's not the nic level it's the PG level. A liquid at 12mg with 15/85 (pg/vg) is very nice on 0.5ohm coil, but a 12mg with 50/50 is harsh as hell on the lungs with a subohm tank/coil.

Started at 18mg with a vape pen and run-of-the-mill clearo when I first quit analogs. Then within 2 weeks I was down to 3mg, but I was also sub-ohming then as well. ANYTHING above 3mg while sub-ohming just kills my throat. Shoot, I can't even MTL 18mg on a 2ohm coil anymore, just destroys my throat, as does a lot of PG. I like low nic high VG/no pg juices.

Over 2 years ago I started at White Cloud's 54 mg (yikes).
A few months at that, a quick drop to 24, a longer stay
at 18, a comfortable time spent at 12, now my goal is
6 and in the last month I've dropped to 8. Ordered my 6
juices and have some 7 here so as soon as I'm a bit more
acclimated to 8 back down we go. All small tanks and ego
sized batts.

Like the title says, what nic level do you use?

How long have you quit analogs for this use?

Why are you at this nic level?

I'm at 3mg. I've paired down from 12mg and at some point hope to go to 0. Nothing against the nic, but I have enough things raising my blood pressure. Eliminating at least one would be wonderful. Lol.

Started ecigs about 2 years ago. 18mg on ego/stardust 1.6 ohm setup. moved to kayfun/squape 1.2 ohm setup on a vamo, went to 12mg then 6. Fogger V4 .8 ohm at 25 watts I went down from 6mg to 4mg. Now I use 4mg no matter what device I decide to use, and use the subohm tank at .5 ohm as my main, the fogger v4 at .8 ohm, and squape-R at 1.0 ohms... all at 4mg.

When I first started, I tried 18mg and 12mg... both made me sick as a goat. So I started out at 6mg; after I ditched the smokes, I went to 8mg, then 9mg; when I came back to smoke-free after my relapse, I thought maybe I should start slightly higher, at 10mg. Been at 10mg for 10mo and 3wks now, along with some WTA (decreasing monthly since the first of the year). It works; I can chainvape if I really want to, and not feel sick, but mostly I don't need to chainvape.
