....don't mix up a "witches brew" of cleaning products in hope of cleaning up a GGTS; the results can be catastrophic; both for the GGTS and the person mixing chemicals. I'm posting the pics to caution anyone who is looking to clean/restore a GGTS to be careful. We all make mistakes along the way so the owner will remain anonymous

The only major part that could not be salvaged and restored is the mouthpiece. I had to sacrifice it to save the AVS top ring.
Works perfectly; just doesn't look perfect and is ready to head back to Europe and a long life of enjoyment.
