Hello again! I haven't been on here for a bit, because I am still struggling to use the vape with any regularity. However, I was curious about something. Turns out if my Kroma-A & innokin Zenith kit is accidently knocked over it causes the coil to loosen up and the unit leaks.

It happened a while back and I didn't understand why, but my husband fessed up that he knocked it over and didn't tell me. Now, it just happened where I am the one who knocked it over and it started to leak again. I took it apart, cleaned it up, took out the coil and put it back in, etc. No more leaking.

Has anyone had this vape - or other vapes - prone to leak if they are tipped/knocked over? Thanks!

I tried to come up with a reason why just knocking your setup over would cause it to leak. Obviously cracking the glass in the tank would cause leaking, but I assume you've checked that already.

The fact that you corrected the issue by taking out the coil and putting it back in makes me wonder if the coil was ever snuggly installed in the proper way if the first place. A routine topple onto its side should not cause leaking, but if the coil wasn't snuggly in place then a fall might cause the coil to completely disconnect and leak.

Sometimes with some top fill tanks the coil can become misaligned when you add your liquid.

It's hit or miss from tank to tank. The fact that the Zenith coils aren't threaded may make it more vulnerable to losing the seal if knocked over. Haven’t knocked over the ijust 3 so I'm literally just guessing.
I think this is likely the reason. Just guess I need to NOT knock it over!!

The second time it happened, I tried to make sure it was snuggly in place. We'll see what happens, if I should be so clumsy as to knock it over again!
