What prevents some E-cig suppliers from showing the CASAA link on their websites?

I will purchase only from those manufactures and suppliers that are a member of one of the following:
  • - American e-liquid Manufacturing Standards Association (AEMSA)
  • - Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association ( CASAA)
  • - Smoke Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA)
or any other large state, regional, or national vapor related advocacy group.

In this day and age with e-cigs being restricted or banned from delivery methods, use, and onerous regulations; any vapor product manufacturer or supplier that does not actively advocate may very well find themselves Out-of-Business in a few years.

Good points!

I think a lot of business owners were in denial that this would ever happen. How long have we've been hearing about "deeming"?

I'm wondering if in certain cases, some juice-makers, for example, were aware something was coming, but just figured it would be pretty mild, as well as easy & inexpensive to implement, like having to list the ingredients on the label (which some already do), and using child-proof caps (which some already do) -- and not having to submit a ton of ridiculously expensive & time-consuming applications that will put almost all of them out of business...

IMO now is the time all interested parties work together to protect our interests or we will lose. The FDA ANTZ BT BP are working together. Time to put minor differences/interests aside.

CASAA has open communications with most of the industry organzations. We have no illusions that we can be fully effective without their support and involvement.

Yes! So true.
