What really drives you crazy?

Round-abouts, loopty loos, traffic circles, whatever you want to call them, they make me crazy. I live in a tiny town of approx. 10,000 people and our city counsel, in their infinite wisdom, decided the town needed 2 loopty loos at the entrance of town, 1/4 mile apart with a barrier between them!!! If the place you want to go to is on the other side of the barrier, you have to go down to the loopty loo and turn around and come back. It's ridiculous! And then there's the idiots that stop even if there are no cars in the circle. This is a subject I shouldn't get started on because it's ticking me off just typing about it.

I had a "friend" stop by recently. She is the type of person you can only be around once in a while because she is a downer. It's always "All about me day" in her mind. This time I am afraid I lost it. She was droning on about how awful her life is (It's not, compared to the rest of us) and then out of the blue she made a scathing remark about a really close friend of mine..and suposably hers. I lit into her and probably won't see her anymore unless we are at a group thing...but that was just the last straw. It irks me no end to have someone say something about someone who is really dealing with a lot right now.
I understand mental illness and how it makes people slide off the deep end at times..but this woman has been doing it for years and won't get help. I guess I am being a witch but..when is enough enough? I do try to keep selfish/downer type people out of my life, it is so toxiic. Oh well it's part of her M.O. to make others feel guilty for standing up to her.

Sounds like you did yourself a favor telling her off. Now maybe she won't come visit so often. Some people just like to complain about their problems to get attention. It's kind of a vicious circle. They complain to get attention but then don't get attention because they complain all the time. I happen to know a person like that....my mom.

Hehehe my name isn't really Raynen and I'm really not Mileena from Mortal Kombat My profile pic is me, though. I use Raynen as one of my 3 pen-names for my writing, but sadly I am retiring it as my pen-name, though I don't intend on going in depth about that; I'm trying to chose just one and it's getting very difficult for me. I'm 24 but I feel 15 at times. I'm pretty off my rocker, crazy, deranged... but my life is a lot more interesting because of it! My Mom calls it "creative and independent"... ...yeah go Mom! Things that drive me crazy? Hmm... when it comes to vaping:
+My attys decide to go nuts out of nowhere and won't vape right at all...
+I don't order my favorite juices in time and run out of them (like I did this week )
+I spill rubbing alcohol everywhere trying just wash one damn atty
+When I do something stupid like accidentally drool in my atty or get dishwater in my atty...
+Mixing up my entire stash of cartos, juices, attys... because I was too lazy to organize (changed that yesterday!)
+Here's the best one: When I try out a juice and then get told that not only did I "ordered my juice wrong", but I must be vaping it wrong, or using the wrong equipment. Um... if I had to use certain gear for certain juices, I would flip! That's half the reason who I dislike those "our e-cigarettes are the best, but you can only use OUR carts and OUR juice"... ARGH!

When it comes to other things...

+I get tired and go to bed to sleep but then I'm wide awake (like now )
+Men in general drive me insane because I am single but not interested (apparently abstinence is kryptonite)
+I make a cup of coffee then get distracted and by the time I'm ready to drink it the coffee is cold
+I have a great idea for one of my novels and stupidly don't write it down and then forget it
+When my dog wakes me up at 6am just to step out into the hallway and then scratch to be let in when she knows I go to bed AT 5am!!


...I swear I'm not a pessimist

I apologize tm, I'm the one who always changes my avi! Though 99% of the time its anime, I know I'm terrible. BUT I do have my pic up in my profile! I'm a 29 year old mommy of 2 little boys, age 9 and 6, and while my real name isn't Rain, Rain Keltoia is a name I've gone by and used for about 15 years now. Its a pseudonym of sorts, and I answer to it as well as my given name (many of my friends nearby use it exclusively, especially my fellow pagan ones) and usually I prefer it especially when online, though its origins aren't online based.
Things that annoy the crap outta me include many things already listed. People who think "kids will be kids" means they should let their kids run around the store/resturant/whatever screaming their heads off and making an enormous spectacle because they can't be bothered to discipline them, bullies, those who think that giving rights to others somehow makes theirs go away, willful ignorance, and things not working. I love my technology and know quite a bit about it (for example computers, I know how to fix my own stuff 99% of the time, be it hardware or software) but it seems that the ONE THING I can't fix/have control over has to break.

WHEN MEN THINK WE EXAGGERATE WHEN WE HAVE CRAMPS AND ARE IN PAIN DURING THAT TIME OF MONTH Makes me SO angry. One of my guy friends said, "I bet it's not as bad as most women make it out to be" with my best friend and I, and we were BOTH cramped up and on our time of the month. Oooohhh we definitely set him straight!

I used to change my avi a lot but not so much any more. I used to change it weekly on twitter and my boyfriends told me to stop cause people look at the avi not the name. So I promised to stop...and now I stuck with a 4th of July pin up girl I do always use pin up girls but prolly should have changed one more time since it is almost August

I share a lot of the same ECF gripes as the rest of you, especially the fanboy/girls. I do have a few of my own gripes and none of them are directed at anyone here.

1. I am a carto girl, always have been and probably always will be. It works for me. I don't like to drip. I hate that some vapors think they are superior because they drip and that everyone should drip. And no I don't need a bottom feeder...I have one, an old goat, someday I would like a Reo Grand, but it is way down the "I want that mod" list. I like the Reos, I think they are exceptional but they are not the answer that everyone is looking for.

2. My boyfriend has a show on vapetv live. I am there supporting him every Sunday. Sometimes I take a side cam. I only show my face from the nose up. I have my own personal reasons for doing this and it is no ones business but his and mine. But people in chat make fun of me because they only see my eyes. I am not there for them, I am there for him.... If you can't be nice, leave me alone.

3. Due to my illness, I have short term memory issues. Things like ohms and low resistence, and such I can't remember to save my life. My boyfriend and my friend (both long distance for now) came up with a system to help me know what to use on what. Silver goes on the silver bullet, small black goes on the Infinity, and long black goes on the maxi roughstack. Some people like me and some newbies need something this simple. Cause we all know it is easier to just light an analog. If someone needs it broken down to the simplest of steps, and someone posts those simple steps, don't keep posting the complicated things. Some of us can't handle it and don't care to handle it. K.I.S.S. is how I have to vape now. At least I am still vaping :huh

No apology needed. I wasn't referring to any one person. Lots of people do the same thing. I'm trying to remember people by their username now. As far as I know they can't change those.

Who are the biggest babies when they have a cold? MEN! They act like they're dieing and expect to be pampered and waited on hand & foot. But when we are sick they just say "tough it out". Go figure.

I can identify with #3. I've learned quite a bit about ohms & voltage but when people go into so much detail about watts & amps and use equations....I'm outa there and on to the next post.

My ex had all four of his wisdom teeth pulled at the same time and he whined like a little baby for a week. I had all four of mine pulled, two of which the surgeon had to practically dig out of my jaw, ended up with dry sockets and was back at work three days later. I don't want to hear about how we can't handle pain. I've had two kids, damn it! One of them broke my tailbone on the way out!
