MK, WOH, :D hehe everyone needs a soapbox now and then! Whiskey if you didn't change after a day I'd be worried LOL am is ok TM, I confuse people sometimes hehe

The whole bullying thing comes from my little man getting bullied, he has late effects from chemotherapy added with most likely add or adhd (still determining that) which causes memory issues and he is currently unable to learn how to learn. Some things, no matter how many times he's taught, practices, etc, he can't grasp, especially writing and spelling, but other things as well. Some kids tease him for it and its something I cannot tolerate. He's a cancer survivor and the side effects from those cancer drugs can be enormous! I can sympathize entirely with you Charmed, though I'm not experiencing it first hand, I know what my little man is struggling with now. If they tease you they can answer to me!

Charmed, good for you!!!

It sounds like you know what you need and don't need and are ready to stick up for yourself and your son!!! :toast:

(I've made it so far through the day without getting annoyed. it doesn't hurt that i haven't actually had to interact with many people. However, I'm about to head to the grocery store, where annoyances abound)

Rain..let me at em! Bullies get no where with me. I may be a little old lady..but I can kick some serious ....! I once told a woman who screamed at her kids all the way thru the grocery store to go home and take a damn nap! to the applase of other shoppers.(Big tall fat lady)! I told a man who pushed a kid out of his way I would beat him to death if he did that again and slammed him in the back with my not light purse. I told off a manager who yelled at a bagboy in front of every one and asked him how it felt?
Bullies can eat dirt in my opinion!

Oh, thank you for that one! It gave me my first belly laugh of the day.

I wouldn't complain too much though. It means you are very attractive and you should be flattered by that even though it can be annoying to say the least.

Awww thank you. I don't feel like dealing with pigs. I want a knight in shining armor, not a player. :D Glad I could give you the first laugh of the day.

constant state of confusion
If you're waiting for a knight in shining armor you will be too old to really enjoy what he has to offer. ;)

So very true. And I blame Disney...all of their princesses ended up with the prince. Not a single mom waiting on royal child support that may never come. I mean look at Cinderella...she got Prince Charming, the crown, the castle and the dang shoes.
It set us all of to want the prince, the knight in shining armor, and the whole happily ever after thing. Spent 20 of my 44 years chasing that crazy Disney dream and got a lot of heartache, players, and kissed a lot of frogs. But finally I have found happiness.....and my happiness turned out to be an Ogre (Sirogre) who works at a yogurt factory :wub:

I'd be happy with just the shoes.......

I had a "friend" stop by recently. She is the type of person you can only be around once in a while because she is a downer. It's always "All about me day" in her mind.

I've been think about what you said because it so reminds me of my mom and I've figured out where she got it. Her mom was the same way and her step mom, Lizzy was too. When I was a kid, every time the phone rang mom would tell one of us kids to answer it in case it was grandma Lizzy. Well, me, being the sticker I was, would tell mom that it wasn't Lizzy. She would give me the dirtiest look when she picked up the phone. I use to love watching and listening to mom while she suffered through the phone call, snickering all the while :p. The conversation would go something like this from mom's end: uh huh, uh huh, ya, uh huh etc... I would try not to laugh but it was hard and even mom was having a hard time not laughing. After awhile mom would say something like "well I guess I better go now" and then would start up with the "uh huh, uh huh, ya etc... It was a riot.

Anyway, mom hated it when ever grandma or grandma Lizzy called or stopped by but then she ended up just like them. It's ironic and sad. :(

Sorry that was so long.
