Haven't tried the spearmint, but I have peppermint and orange oils. Orange was bitter and not pleasant, and really lingered in the atty...won't use that again, and I decided that BEFORE I read about how you shouldn't vape oils.
I made the mistake of making a 10% peppermint oil juice. Yikes!! Way beyond too strong! As in I had to stop myself from throwing out the cart and atty! However, 1 drop in 10-15 mL is good, and is dilute enough that it might be ok to vape. Haven't had any problems with it so far, but then I don't vape mint very often.
Cinnamon is an oil I actually avoid, since it is a known lung-irritating aldehyde. I really like cinnamon candy or gum, but it can cause mouth ulcers with me, probably for the same reason...cinn oil will cause skin sores too. So I won't vape cinnamon at all.
I don't think the mints have this effect...the main concern with them is their relative insolubility in water, and might clog an atty. I have some of Vermont Vapor's Cool Mint, and I was told by them that they use Lorann's peppermint and menthol, but only a few drops per 30 mL bottle. Its a nice juice. Recommended.
