Currently I have a eGeneration E2 (like the esco e2 space needle) e cig and an ego.

I am looking to upgrade to a zmax.

My question is what attys / tanks should I get with my zmax, and what other accessories are required? Best place to buy it from? I like my ecig to hold a good bit of liquid (the e2 holds up to 6ml but perhaps that is too much). I'd like something that "goes" with the zmax too, as far as looks.

I know I'll need a battery and charger, etc. Is it worth it to get the v3 with the telescopic thing, or is the v2 ok?

thanks.

Hi Snailed,
I have a V2 which I like. The benefit of the V3 is that you can use different size batteries with it since it telescopes. That's a big advantage if you want to have it in stealthier mode for some places.

You can use pretty much any attachment with 510 threading. The Pro-tank is popular right now.
Kanger Protank Pro Tank Glassomizer

I haven't used one but they look very nice. I use vivi novas with the metal tanks. They hold 3.5ml I think.

There are also cartomizer tanks - these have a cartomizer with holes punched in it - the cartomizer sits inside the tank.

The links are just to look at - there are other vendors that sell these kind of things.

the whole carto tanks / holes punched in it is confusing to me. i'm guessing it's just a carto inside a tank with a hole punched so that the liquid can get into the carto?

with that Kanger Protank Glassomizer, is there anything else I need to buy with it? Ie, does it include the element/wick, etc inside? Sorry I'm such a noob, it's hard to get my head around all the tech talk when all I want to do is vape!

Don't need to be sorry for being a noob - everyone is when they start. :) You're right - the carto tank is so liquid can feed into the cartomizer. Its basically a way to not have to refill the cartomizer so often. Some people swear they also taste better - and others swear they don't. Can depend on the juice and like a lot of things is subjective. If you like the flavor you get from cartomizers then carto tanks are going to taste the same.

The Kanger Protank comes with wicks etc inside, and you can buy replacement wicks for it (we call them heads). This video is by Phil Busardo - he's a vaping reviewer who has reviewed a lot of vaping gear. He reviews the Protank here. He changes his Protank a bit in the video. He uses a very thick ejuice for testing. You can get an idea of how it looks from the video too:

Thanks Kiwivap. The Kanger Provap looks like a pretty good choice. The only thing in the video that I worry about is that it says you don't get as warm a vape as you will with a Vivi Nova because the heads are at the bottom. Not a dealbreaker or anything, but I'm curious: Do you have any recommendations on places to purchase a Vivi Nova kit? I looked on MadVapes and they don't seem to have them on there. Thanks for all your help.

I lost my internet connection for a few minutes. Anyway - Discount Vapers has the original Vision vivi novas - those are the ones to get if you buy them. Edit: He's out of stock on the metal tubes. Here's the link to look at anyway:
Vivi Nova

The thing with metal tubes is you can't see the juice level. You get used to knowing where its at tho.
The advantage of the Protank is its glass - the clear vivi novas are plastic.
