Its hard for us to tell what people actually use, as it is so very common people custom mix after we ship. I can tell you by far the most common VG percentage requested is 20%, nicotine is all over the board.

When I started vaping I started at 24mg/ml and 20%vg. Switched to 30% VG as the PG throat irritation was to hard on me. Then I switched to 12mg and to 20%VG. Then finally to 6mg/ml and 10%VG. Still get lots of vapor with 10% at 5v with the WOO, but noticed less throat hit with 20%. I vape a lot so found cutting mine down to 6 with doublers was my happy place.

Whats your bag? And why?

Chris... this is a great thread and really glad you posed the question!

I get my EJ from TV and one other place... and both are really class acts IMO.

The reason I mention this is, I saw them post somewhere that their nic... which is not doublers and the like... is at 20-25% VG. To me, this is significant because they are going with what is most commonly desired by their customers.

But for myself, I really went with Mrs TV's suggestion (or whomever wrote up the TV descriptons) of 'a touch of VG', which, like yourself, is at 10%. So, with this other company's EJ, I have a ways of diluting their VG down to 10% without diluting the flavor or nic. With TV EJ, I just get it at 10%

I tried 100% PG a while back and, seemed like with having no VG at all, the EJ was too watery. Almost as if the 10% VG gave the EJ a level of... 'solidity'.... if that makes any sense. But still, I could notice the difference in taste between the 10% and 20%, so I just decided to go at 10% for everything.

The thing about VG... is you get more vapor but, on the other hand, less TH, less flavor, and it clogs your addys and the like up more. So, not sure why people would go to more than 10 or 20 % VG, excepting those that are alergic to PG, but, to each their own I guess.

One thing that those that are alergic to PG can do, is to jack up the flavor. There are ways I have found to do this (not that I am alergic to PG... for me a matter of using it on cigarette sized ecigs and 3.0 ohm cartos... jacking up the flavor to compensate for less vapor in these). Along these lines, I have been thinking of ordering some doublers from TV, with NO PG AND NO VG. In other words, just the flavoring so I can jack up the flavoring to my liking and... thinking about this... something those that are alergic to PG might want to do.... if they want more flavor/TH.

For me and nic, started at 0% thinking I could stop smoking with that (being I smoked Carltons... lowest in tar and nic), but that didn't work, so I went to 8% and got major progress there, but not completely stopped smoking and, tried 16% and, that didn't work. More recently, tried 4% and even 2% but, have migrated back to 8%. My TV EJ (cafe mocha, german chocolate cake, etc) in particular just didn't seem to taste right at less than 8% so, maybe it just a matter of what I am used to.

That was one thing I found most interesting about what people have posted in this thread. More than anything it seems to be a matter of what each person is used to and most comfortable with. So, I guess good advice for anyone is to try something standard and then vary that one way or another until you come to what you yourself are most comfortable with.

The other thing... a LOT of low-nic users. Didn't think there were that many. Maybe a lot more here on TV though because the doublers are very cost effective for low-nic users.

Thanks again for the thread!

I stick with 20%. I was going at 30% for a while, but it seems that larger quantities of VG congest the hell out of me. Those huge clouds are impressive I must say, but if I'm hacking up a lung from the congestion, that's not so good. In addition, when people see that kind of reaction to me using my product, it's also a bad representation of the product itself. Make sense?

Anyway....20% FTW

Well, i learn a lesson. First order to TV was a normal 80/20 PG/VG ratio, and in the beginning, i got a tonsil irritation as when i was smoking analogs a lot. I though it was because of the PG, and next order to TV, i order 50/50 PG/VG.. But what happened is that i can't vape those 50/50 as my lung is getting very heavy and i keep coughing.. and for those in 80/20, after not vaping it for 2 months, it become very smooth and i am OK now vaping that.

I think next order to TV will be the standard 80/20 ratio, and let it steep for a while...

Well after 2 1/2 years I've had to step my nicotine down from 24mg to 12mg. It hasn't been a horrible transition, but one that I feel needed to happen for medical considerations. So, 12mg/20% from now on it is...

Two weeks into the whole deal, doing just fine, it's been a very easy transition and feeling much better.
