Most of the rest of the family and my friends are utterly supportive and very positive about the health benefits. But they all know I don't do anything without doing the research thoroughly.

I'm in the same boat...I research everything, to the point of driving my wife nuts. She sees it, and wants it...I see it, go home and research it, look online for the cheapest price with warranty, then make the purchase. This is why my family supports this change in my delivery system for nicotine...they knew I wouldn't have made a rash decision.

HAHA, I'm the same way. I check out online reviews and then look at the cheapskate sites to find the best price. And my wife is the same way. She never tells me how much something costs, just how much she saved =P

Had a guy at work, who is a smoker, tell me, "I thought you were trying to quit smoking?" I said, "I did quit." his response... "no you didn't, its the same thing, as far as I'm concerned you're still getting nicotine so it's smoking."
I told him as far as I'm concerned, it's vaper, not smoke. He then went into the whole well I saw on the news that they're worse than cigs, they abduct people, ecigs are in direct correlation between the homeless people and starving Ethiopians, and they'll be the downfall of all man kind, kind of crap (over exaggerated, but still equally as uneducated). I told him well, this has 4,000 less chemicals in it than what you have does, so I'll take my chances, and walked off.

What really bugs me and I get it all the time is when I tell people I quite smoking and show them my Reo they say oh well your still doing that
I tell them I feel better I don't cough or wheeze I can smell again I'm slowly getting my endurance back and they roll there eyes and minimize my accomplishment That Sucks! Long term studies or not I all ready know it's less harmful than Smoking!

The last person that questioned me about my vaping was told by my wife, while giving me a very dirty look, that there is a reaction that happens within my lungs that causes me to exhale Dihydrogen Monoxide vapor, and that DHMO not only a major part of acid rain, but that it has been known to kill people. She even told him that it is found in many pre-cancerous lesions and tumors. That person told me that I should be more concerned about my lungs, and that I'm going to kill myself doing this. I told them that I was addicted, and that I didn't care how much DHMO I exhaled...and that my happiness was more important to me than saving them from DHMO vapors.

That person finally got up and left, after calling me a name that I can't put here.









Of course, the person she told that to was my busy-body aunt, and DHMO is also known as H2O...water vapor.

My aunt went to my mom with grave concern about DHMO. Mom had to explain to her what it was. We all had a great laugh at her expense...I can't wait to see what she gives me for my birthday this year. LMAO
