cigalikes called E-Lite Elites. Got them when the kiosks first opened in Malls, then on-line. Long time ago, may have been 07 or 08. I spent a fortune on those things. Partly because I didn't realise you had to replace the bit in the middle, which I think they called the igniter. Got better when they started selling dummy-proof refills with built in coils. Ended up with around 30 batteries between me and the wife. You needed a lot because they didn't go for long between charges. Company only closed a couple of years ago.

A while back I was thinking about them and wished I had kept one for nostalgia. Searched the house but they were all gone.

One of these, ordered directly from Ruyan in China in December 2007:

I also wore an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time.

Around 50€, I think? At a B&M. Seems reasonable for the time? In not-US? And it was two eGo batteries, so I could charge one while using one, and two tanks, plus they threw in several e-liquid samples ... and it led to me quitting smoking forever. Bargain!

That looks stunningly familiar to me (mine were branded by the B&M I bought them at - I gave one battery/clearo set to a neighbour who wanted to try quitting the stinkies (now successfully), and still have the other in waiting - I must get an additional charger so I can throw that in, and keep on paying it forward. It would be cool if two batteries and two clearomisers got three people off the stinkies, and maybe they'll pay it forward, too!
Of course, it didn't take me long to start moving my way up the upgrade trail.

Don't rightly remember which of several over priced little gadgets I bought first. Probably was a Blu or nJoy product. I just remember that I was paying a lot for a bunch of nothing. Seems like they would actually work ... for about 1/2 hour or so before becoming so weak that you'd be better off sucking your thumb.
Then I found this place called "MadVapes", and they had all sorts of little gadgets. Micro switches for as little as a dime, 510 connectors, (I think they were 99 cents back then) and what else did a guy need to make a mod? I made all sorts of mods for around a buck each. If it was a can with a hinged lid ... it became a mod. Some of them actually worked quite well. ;)
I still have this one. (cost $2.20)

My first "real" mod was a Mako Midi. I bought it the later part of 2010 (I still have it too)
