Started with Blu. Saw the commercial late one night and went out to Walgreens the next day and got the basic kit. Loved the flavors but gear was junk and I hated the constant charging with the small batteries. Went to the youtubes to see if there was something I could do to make them work better. That's when I discovered grimmgreen, pbusardo, igetcha69, the ECF and the whole wide wonderful world of vaping.

Now I'm content with my twists, Evods and Protanks. I may get a mod or something down the line but for the foreseeable future this is where I'll stay. I've got a bit of a soft spot for Blu since it was my gateway. Still have the kit in a drawer 'just in case'.

First E-Cig I EVER tried, was a random single packaged disposable from a Mobil gas station. I wish I could remember the brand, but, it was very underwhelming. Horrible taste, no vapor.. did NOTHING to satisfy my craving.

I basically ignored any and all ecig marketing for about 6 months after that.

About a month ago, my Mother got me a starter kit from http://liftvapor.com, and I also ordered some of their juices and some more cartos. Not terrible, but the flavor was rough, very rough on the prefilled. But, buying their juices and cartos and filing my own, some of the flavors were good. But, even the 24mg juice did little to satisfy my craving Overall, not wonderful, but made me look for something better.

Last week, I got a blu Premium100 kit. Battery life is annoying, but the Vanilla cartos direct from Blu taste decent, and, though i need to vape much more than the equivalent of smoking, it will satisfy my cravings.

Blu, despite their issues, is what made me research. Its how I came to order a mod and a bunch of gear, and I how I found this place, and the youtubers.

My Vamo V3 should be here shortly.. just waiting for the damned fedex man!

Bought a blu and njoy to test the act of vaping. I knew about the goods but had to make sure it would work. Got me and my wife volt kits and also picked up an 1100 vv and some evods. Love the vv/evod and still bring the volt around with me from time to time. A friend has an itaste vv/vw 900mah that he's going to give me. Next on the list is vamo/pro-tank combo. Hard to say where I go from there.

Blu was my first. But that was for about 1 week, maybe 1.5 weeks. Then went to an ego twist, with a vision clearomizer. Then found the kanger protank. Then "Tim the tool man" took over....for a provari mini (with extension). And the tool man isn't done yet. I'm currently awaiting the arrival of my kayfun lite.

Same here. I think it was called Modern Smoke. Tasted atrocious and felt awful, so I gave up the idea. Mom got me to try ecigs again and I ordered a knock off eGo C with a clearomizer and it opened up a whole new world. Found some good juice and never looked back. Right now I've gone 7 days without a cigarette and I feel great.

Vapage. I bought a starter kit at local tobacco shop (not a lot of choices in this small town). It was a good investment, liked them right away, but couldn't resist shopping for more, so I hit the internet and wasted the average amount of $$ a newby does on flavors that didn't suit me, batteries that failed and pre-filled cartos that were only half filled, or dry.

Worst investment: V2 & Vapor Coutour. Their batteries have the life span of a housefly. 3 out of 6 crashed in less than 3 wks. Long wait for order processing and shipping is a deal breaker, too.

I'm still glued to the analogue look-a-likes, but I do like pretty, feminine & sparkle. The VC's were all that, but too unreliable and limited refillable. Now I just re-charge what I have, and refill my cartos & mini-tank with e-liquid made and sold right here in my home town.
    Simple & economical.

Well first I bought a disposable 'cheapie' so I could sneak a hit of nicotine in the airports because being a 1.5 pack a day smoker who traveled a lot, it was killing me.

Then I tried a 21st Century brand rechargeable in Menthol which was better and I liked the pre-filled cartridges but I could not find the flavor carts anywhere around me.

I stepped my vaping game up to a blu brand e-cig starter pack. It was not for me, I like stronger flavors and the vapor was lame.

Now I have an eGoTwist with Clearomizer and LOVE IT!!

We began with a starter kit from Smokestik. With it came some sample cartomizers. We were both still smoking analogs at the time, so it was easy to compare the two. We really liked the feel and flavor of the e-cigs. So much so, that although it took a few days for our subsequent order of pre-filled cartomizers to arrive, we quit analogs a few days after.

That was 16-months ago. Today, we still "vape" from cartomizers. We have resisted the notion of expanding the vaping experience (drips, tanks, cartridges/atomizers, mods, etc.) because we want to remember that we are still nicotine addicts. We are reminded of that every time we change out a cartomizer or re-fill one, recharge a battery, order liquid, order pre-filled cartomizers, etc. One day, we'll muster the courage to quit altogether ever mindful that it was the ecig that made our present health improvement possible. To us, our ecigs were indeed a smoking cessation device, regardless of how deep our government digs its head into the sand.

It was only last week, and was this one. Too bad they're sold out now--was going to order a second. But got a 650 mAh USB pass-through on order (amongst a bunch of other stuff) instead.
